what really is the true meaning of love? everyone thinks they know what love is when truely no one knows. love can be beautiful like hearing a birds song in the early morning then out of the blue turn into a tornado spinning things out of everyones control. when you see an elderly couple walking through the park holding hands you think it is a precious moment every girls dream is to be like that. to grow old with the one you love. spending your days walking through the park or having a nice dinner in a wonderful resturant. but when you really look at it no one lives like that. every relationship has its ups and downs. no one if truely happy with their relationship. you think that they are the happiest couple in the world but when you really sit down and pay attention you'll see that they truely are not that happy. im not saying their not happy they just are not living a perfect life, no one does. so the next time you think your IN love with a guy really think about it because love is a strong word and should only be said if truely meant.
I am a strong believer in karma. I think that if you do something bad or mean to someone or something, something bad will happen to you in return. I think that its really easy for me to believe in karma because I think that people should get what they deserve. If you don't want karma to get to you, then watch what you do and what you say to people. It's easy to treat people how you want to be treated.
I love finishing things early. For example, im doing ths blog at school because im an office assistant. How I became an office assistant? By finishing a class early. Getting things done has been one of my strong suites, thats if the motivation is there. I feel a sense of personal accomplishment when im ahead of schedule. Im trying to develop this habit for all tasks, not just the ones I feel strongly about, but everything. If I can mold myself into this type of individual, I feel I can enjoy the finer things in life and focus on what really matters to me.
Today is friday. I love friday because its almost the weekend. And this weekend is going to be especially good, considering we have monday, tuesday, and wednesday off next week. On saturday, however, im really amped to go see the spartans of msu take on the fightin illini. State has been struggling of late, though I feel their bound for a comeback and will hopefully turn around a lost season that had high hopes.
I just finished filling out an application for a scholarship at OU. Im really relieved because it was stressing me out for a while. I'm excited to go to Oakland and study to become a successful Doctor. I like to help people and the medical field seems to spark my interest more than everything else. It'd be nice to get the scholarship there so that I don't have to pay as much money. That would be really nice actually!
i am the type of person that can watch a movie over and over. i seem to notice that watching the same movie is the best thing. i always realize new things about the movie each time i watch it. the movie never gets old!
Just completed everything you could possibly imagine for MSU. Picked the room i wanted to stay in, the classes, food, the list goes on and on. I am pretty excited to go to MSU. My sister went there for pre-med, which i am doing too. I plan on becoming a radiologist in the future. This field mostly interest me because, one it involves huge amount of technology, especially in the future, and two it's a good way to help people. Computers have always been something that comes natural to me, so this type of job should not only be interesting but fun. I hope to continue my education for many more years, to be able to get the type of job, and lifestyle i want.
Had a pretty good break!!! I spent my entire break working on my car. I took out all the rusted areas, which weren't many, and replaced them. It took me one day to wash my car. i live on a dirt road so it is impossible to keep anything clean. After replacing the rusted areas i put a body filler on, and then sanded it into the normal body. I finished up the project with a primer, and three layers of the cars color. Even though its not perfect, i am proud of what i accomplished. My whole goal was to just protect the car rusted areas until summer and i think i accomplished that. I can't wait for the next project i come up with.
This month of february flew by. I mean, we had a 5 day weekend and now its friday. Plus, we have tuesday off next week and before you know it, its spring break. For spring break im going to florida. I should be fun although I wish I could travel to another country. The Dominicon in paticular. I cant wait for spring break to come, however, its a break from school afterall.
Waiting for a college to give you feedback on your admission is stressful. Especially if its a school you would really like to attend. If I cant get into the school of my choice, I guess im gonna have to do community college. In the end, I would like to end up at state. If I get rejected, then occ is what im looking at. I dont wish to apply to other schools simply because im so fond of state. Hopefully God puts me in his graces and hopefully state is where I end up.
I love football. A team in particular that I love to watch is the Philadelphia eagles. I used to live in philly and football was huge. Philly fans are some of the most cruel and unforgiving fan base there is. Their passionate about the game and expect big things out of their club. My new hero is michael vick, quaterback of the eagles and an ex participant of dog fighting. Since his sentence, mike has gotten back on track. People still give him a hard time for his past but I feel the man has paid his dues. For those styill holding mike in contempt, just watch him on the gridiron and your feelings will change.
exactly 15 weeks from yesturday is the day we graduate. after really thinking about it thats really soon. the closer we get to graduating the more im going to miss highschool. going to college and leaving home is going to be a new experience for all the seniors of 2011. people dont realize it but graduation is coming and its coming fast. to be honest im not ready for it!
I am so happy that we don't have school tomorrow. I cannot wait for school to be over! I know that it will be sad, though. All of my friends will be going different places and we won't see eachother as often. But I'm also excited for college at the same time.
I want to start looking for a job that pays me more than minimum wage. It's really frustrating knowing that my paycheck could be a lot bigger if I got paid only 60 cents more an hour. I really like my job, though. The people I've met at MJR are some of the greatest people I have ever known. We're like one big family. I think that's what keeps me there.
Today I have my widgit speech in 6th hour. I feel im prepared for it but I just hope that its long enough. My invention is simple and maybe could be created. I dont really have a problem with public speaking, as long as im prepared for it. If I know what im going to say, its easy sailing. I just have to take a deep breath, relax, and perform as well as I belive I should.
I saw the movie Just Go With It this weekend. It is hilarious! Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston are funny enough by themselves, but even more funny together! I've really been into funny movies lately. Another good movie is No Strings Attached. I've seen it three times; it makes me cry from laughing. I love Natalie Portman! I am so happy she won Best Actress at the Oscars last night. Black Swan was an amazing movie. I only see as many movies as I do because I get to see them for free. That's another advantage of working at a movie theatre.
What should I do tonight? Considering we dont have school tomorrow, I can treat tonight like a saturday. I have to work from 5 to 830 but after that im free. Theres so much I could do. I could go bowling, read a book, or even hit the movies with some buds. Im getting excited already. Its going to be tough focusing at work because I know im gonna want to be doing something fun, however, I dont mind making money.

Woke up today and didn't feel oh so good. Decided to stay home and take a break. From time to time its always a good thing to just lay in bed until your bored of just sleeping. For this is exactly what i did today. After getting bored of doing absolutely nothing i decided to turn on the TV. This kept me entertained for about thirty minutes than it was back to being bored. Sometimes its almost better to go to school when you don't feel 100% because being bored and sick all day is almost just as bad. For the next time I feel sick, I'll remember to think twice.
Looking forward to the break tomorrow. I really don't have anything to to do except work on my poster for my speech on Wednesday. Speeches aren't that bad to me, sure they cause me to become a little nervous but nothing out of the norm. After making that I think I might just chill with some friends or even work on my car a little depending on the temperature outside. I just hope whatever I do it makes the day off, worth wild. I hate when we have a day off and I end up just sitting around burring hours upon hours doing nothing but watching TV. But no matter what I do I know I'll be some what happy because I am not in school. School is not bad but having a day off from it can make all the difference in the up coming days while being there. I hope tomorrow doesn't disappoint.
Fish, Fish, Fish! I think fish are so cute and unique. My favorite kind of fish live in oceans. Just watching fish swim around in fish tanks is amazing. They are very unique animals compared to anything else. The different colors they are and different sizes is cool. I love going to aquariums and seeing many types of fish. Ive has pet fish all my life. Truly, I just love fish!!!
I was thinking how guys have it a lot easier than girls do. Like guys get the privilege of standing up when they pee. Public bathrooms are disgusting. And I hate when I have to go to the bathroom so bad but I have to undo my belt and then wipe the seat and then put a seat cover on, which never is an easy task, and then you can finally sit down. By the time I get to pee I have almost peed my pants. Guys are lucky because they just undo their pants and go. Guys are also lucky because they don't have to be a mother. Being a father is a very important job in a childs life but a mother has a very important job. Not only does a mother have to carry the baby for nine monthe but they have to go through the scrutiating pain of giving labor. Then after that the mother is responsible for the basic care of the child. If the mom does not stay home everyday then they usually work and then take care of the house, cook dinner, do laundry, and still be a wife and mom. Basically boys have it easier but I would rather be a girl any day.
I don't really like to read. If I read something I like it to be a story that will really impact my life. I like to read love stories and stories that show you about peoples lives. There are people in thos world that really struggle. Like children that are abused or kidnapped, rapes that go on to everybody especially childre. One of my favorite books is Sold. Its about a girl who gets sold by her father so that he can buy a roof. She gets sold into sex slavery basically. She gets put into a whore house and things are bad from there.
I have a really difficult time peeing on demand. Trying to pee in a cup at the doctors is impossible it takes so long. One time when I went to the doctors I had to pee in a cup and it took me an hour and a half. And the thing was I really had to pee. I drank so much that I almost threw up. I can't pee under pressure. I get so nervous but I have no clue why.
I am about to take a quiz in Accounting. I think I'm going to do well so I'm not too worried about it. I am worried about my Calculus quiz later, though. I'm getting better at Calculus but I still struggle. Math is one of my stronger subjects... but this year I don't know what's going on half the time. I'm just going to be confident about it and maybe I will do better than I think I will. I just hope that I don't fail it, because the terms almost over and it will bring my grade down. I have all A's except for Calculus, it's frustrating.
Right now I am working at wee discover its a child care. My parents don't make a lot of money so they were never able to buy me a car. So right now I am working to save up the money. I make about two hundred dollars a week so by april I should have enough money to buy a car. I am so excited because it makes me happy to know that I did it all on my own. I think that people now a days either have everything given to them or want everything to be given to them. People don't want to actually work to get things. Nobody wants to be self sufficient. That is what's wrong with society is that no body wants to actually work for anything they want the most amount of money for the least amount of work. Which doednt work if you want a great society to live in. That is why america is crashing and is not as great of a society as it used to be.
So I am sitting in 5th hour. Bored, I just did my widget speech and I thought It went really well, besides I dont feel well. The best part is that speech was the last big assignment before I go on my vacation in Lake Tahoe. YEAH!
I never would have thought that I would like government or politics. I always thought it was boring and confusing. If anyone ever brought the subject up I would tell them to shut up. Everyone always argues over politics but that is because its a very controversial idea everyone has there own opinion on it. I am in AP Gov right now with Mr.Howe. He makes politis interesting and a lot less confusing. He's a really good teacher. I am really starting to enjoy government. I like to learn about what's going on in the world and in our own country.
I am strongly against abortion. I feel that it is completely wrong. There is a child in that mother that has a right to live if they want. They don't have a voice when they are in your stomach and they are counting on you to keep them safe. Babies can feel things in the first month which mean that they can feel whatever is going on and is happening to them. Like if you get a suction abortion they feel that and then they're dead. That's not fair to the children. They need help and someone needs to stand up for them because it would be murder. Even if I got pregnant or was raped no matter how much I wouldn't want to tell my parents I would keep it. There are other options out there use them.
I think that people should give more credit to people that give their lives for this country. People don't understand how privileged we are. Americans these days are so spoiled and want everything given to them. There are tons of people out there that have given there lives for them. Even if you don't agree with war or don't agree with everything. You need to show support. Those people give up all they have to go out and fight for you. They need to know that back home we actually care about them and support them. I feel so bad for the veterans of the vietnam war. Just because no one agreed with the war those veterans were treated terribly and they don't deserve that at all. People who serve this country give up there familys there everyday life and sometimes even there own life. Give people in the armed forces some support I guarantee you will make their day.
Love is very complicated. I fell in love with my boyfriend almost a year ago. Some people may say you don't know what love is your too young or you can't be in love with someone that early. But the truth is I am. I absolutely adore my boyfriend. No matter what even if he's being a jerk or made me cry I still know that he loves me and I love him. And I know that people say that high school relationships never last and the percentage of being high school sweethearts and getting married is very slim. Well this is one of those circumstances where I want to be a statistic.
About seven years ago I lost my papa. He was my favorite person in the whole wide world. Not only was he my grandpa but he also acted as my father sometimes and my best friend. Me and my papa would spend so much time together. I would color with him and he would buy me huge jars of pickles because he knew I loved them. Whenever I wanted to get away from my mom I just called up my papa and he would come get me. It saddens me that my cousins didn't really spend time with him or get to even meet him. My sister was at her dads all the time and didn't really care, my cousin ashley was sort of little and was a brat, my cousins merick and alexis were about three and my cousin mariah was two. But I feel bad that my cousin logan, london and the new baby on the way don't get to meet him. He truly was the most amazing grandpa ever. I am really going to miss him. In fact I miss him everyday especially when I actually think about him. I really wish he was here I would definitely live with him. I wish I could see how proud of me he was. I want to show him all that I am doing and share all my plans with him. I want him to see me graduate. I was his first grandchild and his favorite. Shush he told me. :) but it saddens me that I will never have him back.
I think that smoking is really disgusting. Smoking is so bad for you. It can give you cancer it gave my grandpa lung cancer which helped him die. I would never ever smoke. It is purely disgusting. It rots your teeth and makes your breath smell bad plus damages your insides. I even think that second hand smoking is bad. My grandpa used to smoke around me all the time and when I finally got old enough I yelled at him because I told him that what ever he smokes I smoke too. Which second hand smoking is even worse because its not filtered. Basically just don't smoke its gross. And it hurts everyone around you not just you
My boyfriend seth is planning on going into the marines when he is eighteen. This makes me excited because I know how much guts it takes to give up everything to fight for your country. But it also scares the crap out of me. Seth is my true love and I plan on getting married to him one day. I'm scared that he will get hurt or maybe lose his life. I don't think I can live without him. I actually know that I can't but if I had to if it was Gods will then I would have to but it would be extremely tough. I'm also scared to just be away from him. I have trouble being away from him for a day let alone a week a month maybe a few months to a year. I don't know how I will be able to pick myself up eachday and do what I need to do. I know its going to be extremely tough but I am trying to prepare myself for it.
I'm not really fascinated with my parents right now. I haven't really been getting along with them the past few months. We don't really see eye to eye anymore. I hate when they fight. I have never wanted to listen to them argue. I hope that I never argue around my children they don't need to see me arguing with my husband they need to see love not hostility. I have just grown away from my parents. I am really ready to be on my own and be self sufficient I don't want to live with my parents anymore or rely on them anymore but unfortunately I have to right now because I don't have a lot of money.
I used to think that to sleep with a stuff animal at my age was babyish. But when me and my boyfriend went to the zoo on our first date he bought me a monkey. At that time I had a hard time remembering his middle name so I named my monkey his middle name thomas. But now I can't sleep without him. Even if I go to someones house I have to have him. Even if I'm sleeping at his house I can sleep without it. It helps me to feel that he is there even if he really isn't there. Its a security thing and its not a baby thing. I will probably sleep with him until I get married and maybe even then
Today was one of the most hectic days ever. I came home from a full day of school thinking I would have the rest of the day to just chill and relax before my town meeting at seven, but was I wrong. After being home for only 30 minutes, I received a call from my boss asking if I could come in a cover for someone who was sick. If you knew me you would know that I can't deny anyone something along these line. So in essence I said yes knowing that I just threw away my whole day. Got to worked and thought to myself that I would be off at seven and than go to the meeting and than head home, but yet again I was wrong. While there my boss asked me if I could stay after and help re-organize the kitchen. I said yes knowing I had a meeting that I would miss, but I went after what my boss wanted instead of my wants. Right before it was time to leave my boss came up to me and said I didn't have to stay because she had other things to do instead. All in all it seemed to go my way and I was grateful I had time to do everything plus make some money.
Ive officially waited til the last minute to write my essay for Senior Comp. I have no idea what i am going to write about. I have a feeling that this paper wont get done til about 10 o'clock. I hope i still get a good grade after waiting til the last minute to finish this!
So yesterday I had Chinnese food for dinner. I love chinnese food it is the best and it always so yummy! I had Sesame Chicken,and I also got some Wonton Soup. I love the chinnese soups. There are so many chinnese restraunts in are area, but the best one is Hong Kong Express in Waterford.
When asked what my favorite class is in school I say I dont know. Every class teaches my something new. I enjoy each class because I learn new things about different subjects. I am someone that doesnt enjoy going to school but I enjoy the new information.
Today is the last day of school before I go on vacation so today I have to get all my HW, and my teachers sure know how to give HW while you go on vacation. I have a pretty easy day with actual classes. I still have to finish packing my suitcase.
Maybe I won’t rot in Hell. Maybe I’ll drown in the deep depths of Heaven. It’s all in what you believe. I’m not really sure where I stand. For all I know, I could rot, six feet under the Earth’s surface, and stay there, with my soul forever. I don’t know how these things work, and I don’t want to find out anytime soon. I’m not even sure I’ve done anything exceptional to send me to Heaven, or horrible enough to send me to Hell. I’m not really even sure I want to go to either place. Maybe I can create a place of my own to go to after I die. Why am I concerning myself with this so much? I continue to question the simple aspects of life, without even realizing it. I neglect my well-being. It’s not easy to be happy when you throw away such a simple, yet crucial part of life.
My favorite thing to do is bake. I love to bake all sorts of desserts. My favorite things to make are cupcakes.I like to try new flavors and make them all different colors. I think it is a fun way to pass time. Its easy and you can be very creative. My favorite kind of cupcake is homemade red velvet with creamcheese frosting. Its also my favorite cupcake to make its messy but delicious.
I used to be a big animal lover and absolutely hated those commercials on t.v. where it played a sad song with a beaten dog or something. Now I'm beginning to hate all animals. This is because of the fact my dogs are horrible. My one dog eats poop while the other chews up everything in sight. Now don't get me wrong I feel like they should have been trained a LOT more, but both my parents work a full time job and I'm at school all the time. Anyway, they are monsters and I has made me not want to have a dog or any other animal for that matter.
I like all my teachers a lot but one of my favorite teachers is Mrs. Schmitt. I have had her as a teacher all 4 years here at LHS. Her class is always so much fun and she is son entertaing. Her porjects and assigments always make you want to do them because they are fun. Overall she is my favorite teacher, and I wish I could have her in college.

Weekends are a time of freedom for teenagers. Being able to hang with friends and go have fun without worrying about school. You can stay up late without having to wake up at 6:00 in the morning. But the hardest thing about weekends is thinking of something to do. You get sick of doing the same thing every weekend but there is nothing new to do. It gets frustrating when you cant think of anything to do thats different.
well I enjoy Alex thickstuns company ohh so much. Hes a very nice dude. Hes got some skater hair going on, last year it was very short. Personally i like it better long. He says things that he thinks funny, when they really arent. but thats okay! to be honest i dont really know why im talking about him but he told me to soo i did lol(: he just took my phone and put it in his pocket and told me i probably shouldnt text in class, i wasnt even texting? ohh okay alex! Today im going to my first town meeting! Its a requirment for Senior Government. Im not too excited about going expecially since i heard the one im going to last a long time. Ive been to one town meeting before with a friend but it wasnt for a grade. I hope this meeting doesnt last very long and i hope it talks about interesting topics.
Soo i really hate the winter, its cold, dark, and just ew. I love the fact that now when im on my way to school its light outside, that means summer is on its way, YAY(: my favorite season of the year is summer, its warm, pretty outside, and you can do anything outside, unlike winter i dont even wanna step outside. Summer it just GREAT. Theres no school, no snow, no homework, no being bored, theres always something to do in the summer! i honestly dont know how anyone could dislike the summer. When i get older i want to move to florida or somewhere warm cause i cant stand the cold!
it's march and i'm living here in US since september, I feel like time is flying away and this experience is shaping me for really who I am. I still keep dreaming about the day when i'll come back home, seeing all my friends and my family at the airport, but i know i'll be sad because Ijust love being here and especially Michigan i'll never forget anything or anyone
well i was super excited for this weekend because i had alot of plans with my friends. My plans are ruined because my parents informed me last night that we are going to ohio this weekend. There is the Arnold Classic this weekend, which is a event that has car show gymnastic events, boat shows, many many things. My sister is a gymnast so she will be attending that while me and my dad race our go karts at the Columbus Expo Center. I always have a lot of fun, but it is super tiring. We get up at 230 am friday night, what would actually be Saturday morning to leave. Its an indoor oval race and we are usually pretty fast. Im excited but it sucked my fun plans got ruined.
Lately I've been thinking about the subject of love. I don't mean this in a sappy smoochie kinda way, but the love that doesn't work out right. Getting out of a bad relationship made me realize that not all people are emotionally stable and ready for love. Being 17 years old may have a huge part with that especially since most people think love is just physical attraction towards one another. Not all people, but most. I think "love" is being thrown around so much that its losing it's meaning and then when you do find someone you truly care about it's not going to mean the same since you said it to every jo shmo.

4 more months left in michigan! Thats really close and im not sure if im ready to move. At the end of July i will be living in Athens, Tennessee. Im excited yet sad because i have to leave all my friends and family here. im ready to experience living in a new state. I love being in the country but close enough to go shopping in the city.
I am so behind in my classes. I feel overwhelmed with where to start, my late work that i cant get full credit on, my homework that i probably wont finish anyways, or next weeks assignments that i can work on later on. Teachers should have 2 days a week where you just catch up on assignments. seminar doesnt work, kids who go to otc arent ever there and the kids who are there cant help but socialize, its human nature. but then maybe thats why we dont have make up days..nobody would actually do work. I like dogs. I have a dog. I have a newfoundland and If you know about dogs you know that this dogs is huge. When he stands up on his back legs he is taller than me. He is very playful. But even though he is a big dog, he is the biggest baby, if he does not have everyones attention he will still start whining really loud.
Lately i have been working sooo much. i love my job and its something i plan on doind for the future. I work at a nursing home and also as a home health aid at someones house. Last night i worked second shift at the nursing home, which is 3pm to 11pm. I get really tired because i go straight from school to work and then i dont get home until 1130. Its definitly a long day for me. I plan on going to college and getting my credentials out of the way and then getting into nursing school as soon as possible... and its going very good so far:) Not to mention its super good pay!

I thought senior year was going to be the most fun and fly by. Well suprise, I was wrong. This is the most stressful, time consuming, annoying year of my life. Teachers are piling on the work and to be quite honest I've never understood why they do this. We sit at school all day and then have to go home and do MORE work? Someone needs to seriously explain that to me.
On febuary 15th, my dad died of cancer. It is sad, but we all had already accepted it before it happened because he was sick for years. "im sorry" is not what i want to hear, you didnt give him cancer and you couldnt save his life. I miss him but he doesnt have to suffer anymore.
Love is so overrated! yeah i have a bf of 1 year and 7 months, but its just a strong word. I agree with heather 17 year olds mainly arent ready for this thing called love. we have to live our life, were still kids. We should be having fun, not kissy kissy with our soo called loved ones. Live your life people, you dont need a signifant other to make you happy. Friends can do that just as well. What im trying to get at is dont waste to much time trying to please one person. Make yourself happy, and dont cancle the people out of your life for that one person. Odds are they wont be in your life forever, go have fun!
Niki Parker is telling me lately that I have been being mean. This is totally not true, she is just blowing it out of proportion. We both just have really big attitudes and we clash sometimes. Niki and I have been friends since 7th grade... but we don't remember how we met. We grew apart for a while but now we're good friends again. Well at least I think we are. Love you Nicole! You're awesome.
Eeeeerkaa did the crybaby in the hallway in the science portion of the school. it was at the beggining of first hour, and we were waiting for ms. agne to come and catch up with the classs to let us in.. and no im going to read brookes blog.
Why does everyone have a facebook and why is that what their life revolves around? Even dogs have facebook. Who cares that lucy the dog on jefferson street likes to drink a gallon of water at a time and runs laps around the back yard? I dont understand how facebook is so important and how people can sit there for hours every day looking at status's and playing games. If you want to know what your friend is doing, go over to their house. Why do you have to talk to each other through wall posts when you live 2 miles away and can just walk over there?
today alex page gave me the one finger salute in first hour. it just made me laugh. and laugh some more. so then i decided to write this on my blog. but now im getting frustrated because it keeps freezing up, and i dont know why.
I have way too much to do today to be at school right now. I think I'm going to leave. My boyfriend Jonathan's sister is having her baby soon and someone needs to watch her other two daughters. I also have a doctor's appointment in Lansing today at 3:30... so I have to leave around 2. Jon's going with me. Also, before I leave for that, I have to go work with my grandma. My grandma cleans people's houses. She is getting old so I vacuum and wash all of the windows in the houses she cleans. I won't have time to do that if I don't leave school early. And after all of that, I have to go to a town meeting! It's going to be so boring.
In response to brookes blog, Yes, i have a big attitude, but the fact is... i am sensitive, haha. yes i know, hard to believe. but its the truth. maybe it was my childhood. oh man. haha. just kidding. i had a good childhood. i mean, i know it wasnt perfect but i know that i am blessed for the people and things i have in my life. Including Michael who just returned home from afganistan three days ago. :) he came and surprized me at work, which is where you can normally find me if im not at school or sleeping. haha. what an exciting life i live. :P
Next monday I have to take the baby home from child developement. I'm honestly not looking forward to this because I love sleep and since the baby will be cutting into my nap time then it makes me extremely pessimistic about the whole assignment. I think that people who are debating having a child should have to take that crying thing home. Not a girl in highschool learning about developement for a credit before she leaves to go to college. Anyway I'll keep that positive attitude going and blog about it later.
Well Mr. Kehoe is being nice and giving us a free day today. I'm really happy because now I can work on my personal philosophy rough draft that is due tomorrow. I don't really know what exactly I want to write about yet. There's been a lot of things I've experienced and people I've met that have made me who I am right now. I think the biggest incident that has affected me was my car accident where I broke my jaw. Not being able to talk for 6 weeks really gave me time to think. I think the person that has had the biggest impact on me was my grandma johnson. We were so close, and I saw her all the time. She passed away in March 2008. It was a really difficult time. Well now I have some ideas to write about... so I should probably go start that paper.
I got into ferris state. my half sister went there and a lot of my family lives in that area of the state so it is kind of cool. If i ever needed help with anything, i have so much family nearby and i mean i dont understand why anyone wouldnt want their family near their school. they have nobody to fall back on if something goes wrong and they need help to get out of a rut.
Pizza I love pizza. my favorite pizza topping is pineapple, i also like mushrooms, ham, green peppers, pepperoni, tomatoes, and thats about it. i dont understand how people can eat pizza without a million toppings on it. i like so many toppings on mine that you cant see the cheese, and when i order my pizza i always tell them that i dont want to see the cheese only the toppings. when i was little i used to eat only the toppings and leave the cheese and bread alone. i think i will have pizza for dinner tonight! -Marisa
I am bored. I cant wait to go to otc. i feel that way every day. weve been growing tomatoes in the green house and they are so good. Our tomato plants are only about a foot below the ceiling. we are growing them hydroponically which is my favorite way to grow plants because you dont have to worry about over watering them and depending which hydroponics system you use you dont even have to add more water. for like 2 weeks they had me laying bricks in the greenhouse and we are making a waterfall that my friend corey likes to call a chimney-because that is exactly what it is looking like at this point. i think everyone should have to take a greenhouse/langscaping class because it is really fun. at first when i applied to otc i wanted to be in the health sciences cluster but i got into the biotechnolgy and environmental sciences cluster. i made the most of my time and now i am greatful that i got into biotech instead of health because i wouldnt have made all the friends that i did and i wouldnt have gotten all the experience that i did. In my class at otc we are going to an envirothon competetion for scholarships and other cool stuff and if we pass the next competitions we can go to states! last year we went camping during the state competition up outside of traverse city and it was so fun
I really miss the days when I used to have time to do nothing. I feel like I'm always running around doing something. I mean sometimes I like to keep busy, but when it gets to the point where you don't have time for sleep, it gets annoying. When I had endless free time I used to just play my drums or guitar for hours. It was so much fun. I really miss having a lot of time for music. I do pick up my guitar a couple times a week, but that's not enough. I think I should make time for music because it's something I thoroughly enjoy. It's a way to let out stress and clear my mind. I wish I had more friends that liked to play too, like it was in middle school. At least twice a week a couple friends would come over and just make music. Or try to, at least. Haha. But it was so much fun.
I hate listening to rude people. Not to say that I can't be rude, but I know the time and place. At school you always hear kids making fun of others or just being mean. I wish everyone would just get along sometimes; it would make everything so much easier. I deal with a lot of disrespectful people at work as well. If something is wrong with their popcorn or something dumb they always yell at you for it. And what really is frustrating about the whole subject is that concessions is not even my job! Sorry your drink is flat and your popcorn is too salty, but it doesn't concern me at all. I walk around and sweep up the garbage you drop everywhere and flush you toilets you're too lazy to, so leave me alone. I could yell at everyone for being so messy all the time but I don't. The only reason I don't is because I would get fired... and I'm not trying to have that happen.
I hate how long it takes sometimes to get hired by places. they say fill out a application, then well call you. most of them dont even call back, but the ones that do take forever to set up an interview. this last job im trying to get takes three interviews. i already finished the first one but its been a week since ive herd from them and i still have two more to go! C'mon now!!
i got a new bike today! since my G.P.A was a 3.82 for the first semester, i got to pick out a new frame. i picked the eastern grim reaper 2 agian. its one of the lightest street bikes you can get. the frame only weights 4.00 pounds! it pays off being a nerd!
this is only my third blog and i already have a headache. im sitting at otc and i didnt have to go to my math cluster, so i figured i would take the hour that i would be sitting in class and just try and get as many of these things done as i could.
so i went to one of those town meetings last night in highland. i swear the longer i sat there, the more stupid i felt. they were talking about how high i sign off M-59 should be. like seriously and hour and a half almost to talk about a freaking sign..C'mon now!
like half way throigh my freshman year i realised that appoximatly 99.99% of the people at lakeland love to do drugs. i dont know what made it so popular. coming from middle school to high school is a big step. the parties are sweeter and it seems like everyone just like to get messed up. i can only imagine how its gonna be when i get to college.
well my attitude for 2011 so far is "F*** IT" for some reason everything thats crossing my path this year i just seems like i have the same attitude towards everything. it seems to be working out for me so far. so i guess we'll have to see how the rest of this year goes..
it really bugs me when people say HAPPY HOLIDAYS. its Merry Christmas, i dont care what anyone says. all the holidays around that time seem to be based off of giving gifts. WHO CARES what you call it! as long as your getting gifts its straight.
the other day i was driving back from 7-11 with my friends billy and drew. billy was doing about 60 in a 40 and we passed a cop. the roads were kinda crappy so when the cop turned around to pull us over he slipped into the ditch on the side of the road. i thought it was on of the funniest things ever. dumb cop serves your right!

Its 8:19 at night and i still havent wrote my essay. I cant think of anything to write about ive been looking at a blank screen for 10 mins now. This must be my hardest essay ever! Im having such a hard time of thinking of something to write about. I wish something would just magically pop into my head.
As soon as i thought of something to write about my paper was done really quick. Things just started running through my mind and i just had to get it down on paper. I somewhat enjoyed writing this essay alot.
Realized that the school year is coming to an end today and it seems like it just started. Now that I look back on my four years in high school I realize all the obstacles I have crossed. As a freshman I overcame the obstacle of coming into a new area and learning the new ways. Sophomore year I knew the ropes and started to focus on school and doing well. Continuing on into junior year I started preparing myself to get ready for college life and a new set of challenges. Now as I look back on these years as a senior I take into account all I have done and also some of the things I could have done differently. I look forward to the challenges that I meet in the future.
Can't really find anything to eat around this house. Since lunch is so early on in the day by the time I get home I am hungry again. Having this urge to eat and having no food in the house fill this urge is never a good feeling. Instead of having three meals a day I usually on have two because I never have any food, that I like, for breakfast. My favorite food is probably twice baked potatoes. I don't know how I got hooked on potatoes but I pretty much will eat any type of potatoes. The foods I won't eat are few but include tomatoes, onions, and some seafood. All in all we need some more food in this house.
I seem to be slightly old for the grade I am in. Its not anything to much but I have been 18 for 4 months and everyone around me is still 17. Being 18 feels like 17 but actually has lots of perks. One you can buy anything except alcohol, and two you can sign yourself out from school. I have signed myself out once so far and it just feels good to know you actually have control over your life and no one makes the decisions for you. I can't wait to see what 19 brings.
Today I have a lot to do in Accounting class, but I figure my blogs are more important at the moment. So today after school I have to go work with my Grandma, and I really don't feel like it. I'm so tired. But then when I get home I'm going to take a nap until I have to work later in the day at 5. I'm not really looking forward to that either, but oh well. I just hope my headache goes away before tonight. I wish I could just sleep for like 24 hours and I'd be perfect. Speaking of sleep, I love my bed. I have one of those memory foam things on the top of my bed, and it is so nice. I feel like I'm sleeping on a cloud. The only downside to it being so comfortable is how hard it is to get out of bed in the morning.
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain. I like watching the puddles gather rain. And all I can do is just pour some tea for two and speak my point of view but its not sane. I just want someone to say to me, "Ill always be there when you wake." You know id like to keep my cheeks dry today, so stay with me and ill have it made. And I dont understand why I sleep all day and I start to complain that theres no rain. And all I can do is read a book to stay awake, and it rips my life away but its a great escape.
So disappointed the weekend is almost over. It always seems to go by extremely fast. I always wondered what it would be like to only go to school for 3-4 days and than have the rest of the week off. All though this would basically make it so that we would have to go to school year round, I think it might be more enjoyable as well as less stressful. Another thing that bugs me is how our school district never seems to close. I don't understand why we have to always be open even when it is a safety hazard to everyone just to get there. You would think common knowledge would tell you different but i guess not.
My life is spiraling downward, right in front of my eyes. I feel like I have no control over it, either. I’m losing connections with everything I care about. Just when I think things are turning around, everything slips out from under me. Everything that just took 85 steps forward, turns around to take 286 back. How can one person sit around and take all of this? Is it even possible to survive so much hatred? Obviously it is, I have survived, only to tell the tales of this sick world. It’s an unfortunate task to endure. Leaving me to ask, does anyone else suffer the same way I do? Does anyone else live in the same state of mind as I? I sit back and wonder when things are going to turn around, at the same time, I say that I am happy. What is this game I continuously play in my mind? Am I happy, or am I a good pretender? I’m not sure I can stand this game much longer…

Just got back from work and for once I am not tired. Work was not too bad today it was pretty slow for most the day. The only downfall to being slow all day is having the whole day seem to take forever to be over. Got home and had some food my mother made, which makes me happy. After that I continued on to do some of the homework I have. Which then lead me to start this blog. I really hope this week doesn't last forever.
To tell you the truth these blogs are starting to get boring. I hate trying to think of things to write about. Usually my whole day involves working, and that usual involves nothing interesting to talk about. Either way I am coming to an end with these things. I only have four more too go so the end is somewhat near. All I have to do is just think of something else to write about.
Just about to start fixing my resume for senior composition. Not too much to fix, so it should not take too long to do. After that probably going to take a shower and then try and start memorizing part of my memorization speech. I am fairly confident in memorizing stuff so this should be an easy speech to give. I am trying to only have to memorize one poem but I don't know if it will be long enough.
Friday March 4 was my first day of my vacation, and today was a travel day, so we went to metro airport and of course I had to go through the new full body scanners. Then we got to the gate and the plane was dealyed. The plane was an hour late so we when we got to Denver we had to run to catch are connecting flight to Reno. Overall I was sitting on planes for over 5 and 1/2 hours. When we got to Reno, all of are bags did luckly make it there. At that point we got on the shuttle to take us to Squaw Valley Ski Resort in Lake Tahoe. The time we got to the hotle it was 1 a.m. there time, so it was 4 a.m. are time, so I just crashed.
Saturday March 5. Today we got up and had some breakfast then we un packed are bags, and then went out skiing. It was nice and sunny all day, however it was quite busy. After a long day of skiing, we went back into the hotel room, and got dressed to go out to dinner. We went to one of the best restraunts I have been to in a while. After that we walked around the village and went to this cookie shop, which was said to have the best cookies, they were pretty good.
Today Sunday the 6, the 3 hour time difference is really staring to be felt seeming I was up at 5:30 a.m. there time. So we all just sat in the room until the breakfast palces opened. After we ate breakfst we went out skiing, but there was about 4 new inches of snow. But when we went out skiing It was still snowing, it was like a blizzard. It snowed up in the mountain all day. We skiied for most of the day today, we just got back from doing some shopping around the village. We are going to be getting ready for dinner in a little while!
Me and my friends started this habit of creeping. Whenever were driving in the car we'll look over at the car next to us with a weird look and creep the other person out. It sounds obnoxious and weird but seriously it's the funniest thing to watch people's facial expressions. Some get mad, most get weirded out, but some creep back which makes it ten times funnier.
Its crazy to think about how fast everyone grew up. Moving from freshman year to senior year has been an experience that not only flew by, but also was like a roller coaster ride. It's sad to say high school is over but I can't wait to start college and experience new things. It's going to be nice to not have to deal with freshman and have a higher percentage of mature people. Bottom line, I'm excited, but getting really impatient for it.
I really enjoy being in plays. Musicals are my favorite. Right now I am in my church play passion of the christ. I don't have any major part or a solo but I would like one. I hope to get one next year. I have been in the play for about six years now. I really like doing it. We have choir practice every Sunday and in april we have practices like three times a week. Our first performance is the Friday before good Friday. I'm really excited.
I really hate headaches. I usually have them everyday because of my car accidents and jaw issues. It's really annoying, and it make me miss a lot of school. I've had a headache for 37 hours now, and I'm not happy about it. The medicine my doctor gave me isn't working this time. I just get sick of it, but I guess it's something I just have to deal with.
Today I'm going out to lunch and seeing a movie with some work friends. I'm happy that I'm hanging out with them lately because I guess there is some drama going on with my friends at school. Well it doesn't really involve me, but it's annoying and I try to not associate myself with people like that. It doesn't bother me that I don't talk to them anymore. I'm excited to go to college and make new friends. I do have a couple great friends from high school that I'll stay in touch with, though. :)
So I'm pretty sure most people know that my favorite band is paramore. I have a ton of paramore stuff and I listen to them all the time. My friend Sam and I fell in love with their music in 7th or 8th grade.. I don't really remember when it was. I just remember it was when they weren't as big as they are now. It was really cool watching them get more popular throughout the years, and they never changed their style of music. Recently the two brothers left the band, which is really heartbreaking. I know they can find people to play for them easily, but it will just be different. After they come out with a new record it just makes me more anxious for another one. I think I like them so much because I feel like a lot of the songs can relate my life. Incubus is another one of those bands. Plus, brandon boyd is super attractive so that makes it even better!
Damn 15 blogs is tough. I dont know what else to talk about and im kindof rushing this one before the bell rings. Uhh I delievered quite a bit of passes today. I get a workout, walking every which way, going to every classroom. It gets boring after a while but hey, its easy to do. Well the bell just rang, now im heading to my 4th hour which is ap chem. Not that big of a fan of 4th hour but its nice and chill so I can deal. Peace
How many people are Catholic? There are probably not as many as everyone thinks. So why do everyone have to eat a lot of food before lent? Thinking about it, eating the food before is actually defeating the purpose of the whole lent. With people eating fish on Fridays actually does not make any sense either. The fish is still meat so eating it would really be against the whole thing.
I was supposed to attend a concert on march 23rd with my cousin and a couple of friends of ours, three of our favorite bands are playing that night and we are no longer able to go to this concert because when we got online to order our tickets they had been sold out.
This past saturday i stayed the night at my aunt's house she usually has a busy schedule for the weekend but she found the time to spend time with me and i had the opportunity to spend time with my cousin marie, at her friends bowling birthday party.

I am sitting here in third hour next to a wierd kid. Since we have a blow off class, he decided to put a dip in. He likes to chew tobacco, normally he chews grizzly wintergreen, but today he is chewing grizzly mint because BP was out of wintergreen. I think that chewing tobacco is disgusting and i would never do it.
Math sucks. I hate my math teacher. She is not goood at teaching, so a lot of students fail her class. Yesterday we took a test and no one knew what to do on the test. Hopefully that class will be easier next term.

Right now i am waiting to go home and get my new speakers. I ordered a pair of 6" by 9" kicker ks693 speakers for my monte carlo. I bought these to replace the crappy factory speakers that come with the car. I ordered these from a website called Crutchfield. Theyy give good prices and good customer service. They also have free shipping and its also fast. I sent my order in on monday the 7th, and getting them today the 9th. These speakers are going to sound great.
This year is a really laid back year for me. Sometimes i think that i wait to long to start doing projects or whatever i have to do. I still have to apply for college. Msybe i should take a semester off and makes some mone/ take it easy :) But if dont start college right away, im afraid that i wont want to go back to school. I hope to apply before the end of the nect term in school.
gas prices are ridiculous these days. I remember when everyone complained about paying two bucks per gallon for gas. i heard that gas could possible raise to a price of five dollars per gallon before the end of spring. If it gets that high, i dont know what i am going to do. I wish i had the money to start drilling in my backyard, to find oil. Then i would not have to worry about money anymore. They say that the rise in the price of gas is caused by the political unrest in the middle east and in libia. We need to overcome these problems and reduce the price of gas, becuase it is killing all of us.
When I woke up today and stepped out of bed I realized my legs were really sore. It was because yesterday was hell week for soccer.We are condidtioning for tryouts next week. I hate going to hell week but I know I should. Next week determines if I graduate or not because I never took a gym class so I am required to be on a highschool sport for 4 seasons. Iv'e been on the soccer team since freshman year so this will be the 4th season if I make it. So there is a lot of presure on me this year to make sure I won't get cut from varsity. Previous years I always had JV to fall back on if I were to not make varsity but now I don't because it's senior year. I am reallay nervous but i am just going to try really hard.
Im bored. Im sitting in the office, listening to counselors freak out. Its cool working in the office I guess, you get to hear all the gossip. I usually just run passes buttoday I helped mrs flora move some things and pick up heavy boxes. fun stuff I guess
Last Friday was the last day I went to work until summer starts. I have been babysitting for this family every weekday since last year, even through the summer. It was a great job because the girls were older and not hard to take care of. I got really close with their family, they even liked to say they thought of me as an older sister. I spent more time at thier house than I did at mine over the year because their mom worked so much. It was really weird this Monday when I didn't go to their house after school because I was so used to it. also, I'm going to have to get used to not having a steady income week to week. But once summer starts I am going to babysit for the same family again.
Today is going to be a long day at work(Mcdonalds). I have to work 3 to 10. I probly wont take a break either, i need the money. I will end up making a fat quesadilla at work also to eat. If you ever want to eat a quesadilla from mcdonalds, come and ask me, we can also make a great sauce to put on it.
Winter seems way too long this year. I want it to be over now. Summer is always the best. I love the sun and swimming everyday. You don't have to worry about much of anything in the summer. It is usually relaxed and stress free. I just want to be done with school and spend my summmer doing whatever I want. I'm pretty sure I will just go running early in the morning, work until around five, and then have my friends over to swim and eat. Last year summer flew by too fast and I feel like this year it will go by even faster becasue I will be going to college.
College is going to be awesome. I am really excited to go to Central Michigan University. I'm not really nervous about leaving home at all. My best friend is going to be my room mate, so that will be good. We are going to have two other suite mates. We hope we get people who we get along with and are nice. I don't really know what I want to major in yet because I don't know what I want to be after I graduate. I was thinking of event planning, interior designer, or something in child care. I think I'm leaning more towards child care, but I'm still trying to decide.
Boys are stupid. Girls are too but boys especially. My boyfriend thinks he can get on all of my profiles and writes down all of my passwords to everything but if i get on something of his all hell breaks loose because oops, a girl likes him but he doesnt like her back? thats bullspit i know a lie when i see one. Not that i care if he flirts with other girls but he doesnt need to lie about it.
The best part of waking up is folgers in your cup...not mine! i like hot chocolate for breakfast. i never understood the reason behind drinking coffee. most people hate the taste of it anyways, thats why they add sugar and creamer to it. I think they only like the caffeine and the sugar. But i say if you want sugar and caffeine drink a pop or some tea, much better tasting.
I wish i knew anything about cars but i know nothing. so this is how i shop for cars: ask these questions, how much is it? whats wrong with it? what does it cost to fix? doesnt that make me sound stupid?? how would i know anything about cars unless someone sat down and told me stuff. its kind of sad that i know absolutely nothing about cars seeing as my grandpa worked for GM FOREVER and my uncle works on cars and everyone and their brother knows something about cars.
cloning people and animals is unethical and should not be legal. i would not want someone who is the same as me walking around and if people started cloning other people im sure they would do some weird stuff like collect kleenex and strip the dna from it to practice their cloning. wouldnt that be crazy?? Hello, i am marisa kay chartier the second and i was born from a kleenex to a petri dish. lol
The drinking age should be lowered to 18. almost everyone under 18 has tried a drink before anyways and its just making more work and taking more money from the state for all of the incidents of underage drinking in people ages 18-20 who should be mature enough to know when they have had enough to drink and definately know what not to do already (i.e. drink and drive).
ive never thought that homeless people should not be helped. before my dad died, he tried his hardest to share with everyone he could. he lived in traverse city and proudly could say he knew every single homeless person. Many people dont know this or dont want to believe it, but madonnas brother, anthony cicconi, is homeless and he lives in traverse city. he was one of my dads best friends, and not to say that the guy needs no help as everyone on the planet needs or will need help but madonna has so much money and she ignores her brother instead of getting help for him? why adopt some african kid when you cant even help the family you already have? that is selfish and i have zero respect for her.
I recently joined my first gym after trying it out for 3 days. My sister works out there too which kinda sucks. I mean I love her, but she's really obnoxious and annoying sometimes. Instead of having the guy show me how to use the machines, she is apparently pro and wanted to show me herself. Rahh, frustrating but oh well. I leave for college soon and she's moving out, so I guess bonding is in order.
I still don't have plans for spring break. This is extremely annoying since it's my senior year and I haven't went on a trip somewhere in over 4 years. I know some people haven't traveled at all so I'm still lucky, but I guess I'm spoiled. I want sun, feet in warm beach sand, and nice people to look at. Please Lord answer my prayer!
So on monday night I had the baby from child development. In case people didn't know it's the updated version that you literally have to change the diaper and feed it with a bottle. In order to get a good grade I had to figure out what it wanted in under 2 minutes. Not only was it unrealistic, but also a pain. It made me realize that I definitly DO NOT want children for a long long time. Even then I want to be a stay at home mom since I don't trust day care and couldn't handle working at the same time.
Tennis is starting soon which I'm really excited about. I've been practicing all winter at a raquet club which helped me improve my skills a lot. It's going to be weird without my district champs from last year, but I think we'll repeat our winning streak again. Knock on wood. The only bad part about this season is that Mr. Schrubert, my coach of all 3 years, isn't able to be our coach. Since his health is getting bad he isn't able to work, which means not being able to coach. This hurt the team because he has been a motivator and supporter to every individual.

I think this quote is very inspirational, not just for athletes, but for anyone who is working towards something they want. Everything you do doesn't have to be for approval for other people, it should be just for you and how to improve yourself. To get something you really want, you have to work hard to acheive it. If there isn't any effort, there isn't the result you wanted.
I really need a job, my sister just recently got one and im sorta jealous. Ive applied places i just never get called. Im hoping that i get this one job tho. Im sick of not having money, it sucks. Everyones always like ohh gotta go to work, but nope not me! i say ohh gotta go home! cool huh? yeah i know. i have wants and needs, how am i supposed to fill those wants and need with no money? everything cost money in the world today, oh wouldnt it be nice for everything to just be FREE!!!!!!
For spring break im making my own in michigan. I cant go anywhere which kinda sucks, but im sure ill get over it. I hear all my friends talking about spring break, it upsets me that i cant go anywhere. Its something ive been waiting for my whole high school years, and now its crushed :( i would of liked to go to the dominican republic with people but thats not gonna happy, my parents wont let me leave the country. So im just gonna have a blast in good ol michigan, and make the best out of it.
Lying is just a HORRIBLE thing. i honestly dont see the point in lying. If you tell the truth you feel good about your self, you wont get into as much trouble, and youll get more respect. Even if its not what someone wants to hear. Ive learned that the hard way. Just recently ive learned that lying gets you know where, my bf was lying to me about where he was and i cought him in the lie. i was like to him look you dont have to lie to me im not gonna leave you or anything, just be honest and i wont care, even if i dont like it. and he still wouldnt tell me till later on. I got really upset because 1. i dont ever lie to him, i made that mistake. 2. i dont understand why he feels the need to lie. im sure i can say this for everyone, id rather hear the truth than a lie.
For spring break this year i am going to Florida with my friend Shelby and her family, i am really excited because i have not had the opportunity to go on spring break before nor have i gone to florida, it's going to be a blast and i can't wait!

i love my room. Everything has a place and and ther is a place for everything as some people would say. I like all of my things tobe neat and organized. I go crazy when my room gets messed up. When I think about it,I spend a lot of time cleaning it and reorgainzing things. Whenever I am stressed I just go in my room and everything is perfect and in oreder so it helps calm me down. I need organization in my life or else I go insane.
My cousin had her 8th birthday this past sunday and while we were there i had to help my aunt with keeping track of all of her friends as well as taking them on the go karts because most of them were too young and too short to drive them on their own, while we were there my cousin who had just turned 8 the day prior to her birthday party had gotten bumped on the head by one of her friends in her class, she didn't have the best birthday she could have but for her it was a good one.
Monday the 7th. Today was SUPPOSED to be the last day of my vacation of acctually skiing before I fly home tommorow. But it started to snow, we were skiing and then it became a blizzard out on the mountain so they had to close it down. Are travel company offered us to stay so we have decided to.
The scarest thing happened also on Monday in the blizzard. One of the chairlifts stop moving while we were on the top of the mountain getting lunch. This poor man was stuck on the chair lift for more than an hour, in a complete white out. I felt so bad for the guy has he must have been wanted to jump, but it is such a long way down. Finally ski patrol got up to him and attached a bunge cord to him for he could go down to the ground.
Brooke Johnson is one of the best people I have ever meet in my life.I have known her since kindergarten. We ended up going to different schools for three years but we became bestfriends friends again in highschool.I am really fortunate to have her as a friend. I can literally tell her anything. She never judges me and can give really helpful advise. She is one of the only two people I can count on for something really important. But what I love most about Brooke, is that no matter how long we haven't spent time together or hung out, there is nothing awkward about it when we do. We always laugh until our stomachs hurt and have fun even when we are doing nothing.
Tuesday the 8th. Today it finally stopped snowing at about 10 a.m., so we then went out skiing and it turned out to be a pretty nice day. however I refused to go on the chair lift that the man got stuck on. We skiied for most of the day and then we went out to dinner and then went to bed. Overall it was actually a really good day
Today the 9th. Since the travel company extended are trip, today we did not go skiing we did some other things. We went dog sledding and that was so much fun those dogs surely can run fast, but they do stink a little. We also went snowtubing which also really fun and I started to feel like a little kid again. and just a while ago we went ice-skating on the top of the mountain.
The other day I went to the child care center,Wee Discover, to get an application to work there in the summer. I have to fill it out and bring it back in May so they can hire workers for the summer. I really hope I get a job there because I think I would really enjoy it. I would still babysit for the family I always babysit for but the days I would work at Wee Discover , my sister would fill in for babysitting for me. So we would pretty much just be splitting up the job. I did my job shadow at Wee Discover last semester and liked it alot. I want to get some experience working with children from ages 3-4 because I am so used to watching older kids.
One thing I have noticed from being out here in lake tahoe, Califorina is that everything is so dang expensive. For a regular hamburger it is $14 and for one sticken can of pop it is $3, you can almost by the whole 12-pack in michigan for that price. Everything is so overpriced and you spend all your money on just eating and trying to live there.
I was thinking about things I used to do that I don't do anymore. I guess I just got really busy and caught up in stuff. I used to love art. My mom put me adn my siblings in art classes since we were really young. One of our first teachers was a very good artist and liked to push us to improve. She made us put our work in compitions and art shows. After her, we had some other teachers that we learned a lot from too. I loved drawing and painting. School and sports started to dominate our lives and art got pushed to the side. Eventually the only time I did art was in some classes at Lakeland. But I took all of them and ran out so I kind of forgot about it. I keep thinking about doing art again but I always seem to have something else that has to get done first. I don't want to use that as an excuse to not do things i loved before, so I am going to start making time for them.
If there was one thing that it would be near impossible for me to live without i would have to say that it would be music, i listen to music whenever i am given the opportunity i listen to music, weather it's in school, at the gym or even at home everywhere i go music is an everyday consistency in my life i listen to a wide variety of different genera's it is surprising to everyone even myself how many different genera's of music i enjoy listening to
Spring break is coming up fast. I am going on a cruise with some of my friends so it should be fun. I just can't wait to get somewhere warm. I have never been on a cruise before but I am sure I will like it. We are making a bunch of stops at different places so I am excited for that. When we stop at places we might do stuff on the islands like ziplinging or cave tubing but I'm not sure yet. I just hope the trip will be fun and everyone will get along.
I was thinking today how Michigans weather really sucks. I don't hate the winter and I don't hate the summer, even though there are times where its really hot and really cold. I actually really like having four seasons . Some states don't get four seasons. That's sad. Well I was just thinking how I want it to become spring already. I hate how it starts to get warm and then we get a huge snow storm again. For the past two saturdays we have been hit with a snowstorm. So if it snow on Saturday that will be three weeks. I just really want it to be spring already. I want to go outside and do fun stuff but most of all I want it to be warm.

Changes happen all around us, all the time. Sometimes changes in your life seem like the end of the world but something good could actully come from it. Other times you want change. You think that this change will solve everything and make your problems disappear but it may just bring some more issues upon you. Change is change and everyone just has to learn how to deal with it.

I really like these lyrics. I feel like they say alot about how you can be yourself and not care about what others think. No matter what someone does to you or how hard someone tries to break you down, they can't if you don't let them. No one can control what you do and who you want to be.
Just got home from work. Decided to eat some food and than do some homework. All of this rain is making the dirt roads look like a mine field. My car is getting hurled back and forth every time I go to and from my house. I am looking forward to the summer so the roads can at least be some what passable. I hope the snow is done with because I'm sick of having to turn the heat on in my car. It uses to much gas and with the high gas prices it sucks.
This week seems to be going by really quick, which is actually pretty nice. My weekend is also free for once too. No plans yet, except for sleeping in for once. One thing that I know I'll have to start soon time is my speech. Since I am pretty good at memorizing things, I think I'll go that route instead of a personal experience. But besides that nothing else is planned. I have to work on Sunday, like always, but its money so its something to look forward too.
Finaly my last blog!!!!!!!!! So excited that I actually made it to the end. Never thought I would even do these things to begin with. I think it would be easier if a question or quote was posted and we all had to respond to it. I only say this because to me, it seems stupid to just make up random stuff to talk about all the time. Either way this is the last blog for this marking period and I am glad.
Yesturday i found out i have Tendonitis in my left foot. Tendonitis is an inflammation of a tendon (a band of fibrous tissue connecting muscle to bone) that causes pain, tenderness and occasionally, restricted movement of the muscle attached to the affected tendon. I have to have x-rays done on my foot next week to make sure everything is ok. The doctor told me i could have an extra bone in my foot that the tendon is connected to. If it does end up with me having an extra bone they have to go in an disconnect the tendon and re connect it to a different bone.
I havent read a book on my own in a long time. i used to read about a book a day and now its probably been a year since ive read an entire book. I didnt even like to read that much i just had nothing better to do and now sometimes i actually want to read a book but i never have time to.
I am pumped for tomorrow because battle la comes out. this movie looks awsome, it looks like district 9 shouldve been like. Instead of a huge alien space ship sitting in the sky, theyre attacking people and walking aruond in los angelos. Im pumped to see this movie, itll blow my mind.
right now alex page cant think of anything to write about, he also called me a dumbass, which im surprised because he usually calls people a faggot. I think this is a huge step up for him, he's using more mature language. But Brian whos sitting next to him has all of his blogs done, so hes golden. I should get him to write my blogs.
I am finally catching up on my homework! all i have to do tonight/today is finish my notecards for AP Psychology and finish my essay for this class. Then i can do my project for this class on the weekend and i will be officially caught up with everything! this is the last blog i need to write this term and then if i finish my essay this hour then all i need to do is make about 15 notecards more for Psych. it feels so much better to not have to worry about which assignments i need to do and how to get them all done. i hope that there isnt much more work than high school when i am in college
THis week has been really stressful on me so far. I have been panicing and in a rush to try to fix some of the grades I have. I just can't wait for this term and week to be over so I can be stress free again, at least till the end of next term.
So im sitting in 1st hour, trying to figure out what to write about. Andrew Melton is sitting next to me and he is a huge distraction. He keeps flexing his biceps thinking that i like that stuff. But im not that way. Anyway time to think about what i should write about.
Alright so right now im sitting in class doing some ridiculous blog about nothing. Positive or negative? screw it Negative blogging stupid. I dont see what the point of this but its probably just me. But thank god its thursday cause its so close to the end of the week, but more important its another week closer to graduation, and I know every senior is looking forward to that.
it's the first hour and I just wanna go back home and sleep i hate get up every day at 6 30 in italy school starts at 8 30 so i have an hour more than here, but actually I'm glad to be here because school there is so hard and i have to go on saturday too
Have you ever noticed that the school pencil sharpeners arent very effective? This has really come to my attention latelty because it is very effective. Everytime I go to make my pencil fresh it either gets broken or becomes more dull. I think that if the school had better pencil sharpeners than it would be easier to focus on the classwork and i would get more things done because of it. I suggest that the school does something about this problem soon because these continue to get worse and it is becoming a serious issue. Jordan Blanzy
I love smoothies. They are probably one of the best things on earth. I always made a smoothie after I ran in the summer for breakfast. I Put in frozen strawberries, frozen mangos, and vanilla soy milk. I don't like to put ice in them because it makes them too watery. So that is why I use frozen fruit, to replace the ice.
Hot tea and honey has saved my life for the past three days. With a runny nose, hacking cough and pounding headache the last thing i need to complain about is my sore throat! this is where the hot tea and honey come in.. now you see normally i drink coffee like my life depended on it. but for the past three days ive kicked coffee to the curb and adopted hot tea. this is for the simple reason that hot tea and honey help soothe a sore throat, and no the same thing isnt true for hot tea and lemon. that is a lie. the acid in the lemon cancels out any good it could have possibly done.
What alex page just said is wrong. I havnt done anything like that, truly thats a little messed up that he would even think to say something like that. I think that he should just go to mcdonalds and stay there. Flippin patties and servin up fries steems like his type o' thing.
I like to listen to music a lot. Sometimes alot of the songs have meaning to me. Some songs hit deeper than others. One song that really says something to me is little lion man by mumford and sons. It talks about having courage. It really makes me think.
I do not have to go to school tomorrow thanks to swim. The reason im mising school is that states are tomorrow at oakland university and seven members of the swim team will go going. Unfortunatly I will only be going as an alternate because i screwed up my chance to swim at the end of the season, but if someone gets hurt I get to swim.
49 days left of this place i cant wait to get out of here i dont think i could take another year hear if i had to i would probably drop out and say screw it. but when i go to college im not waking up any earler than 10:00 i cant stand getting up so early for tyhis school i mean it wouldnt be so bad if we didnt half to get up so early i would rather be in a cage 6 hours of the day than this place.
People shouldnt judge others depending upon what they have and what they dont have. My parents seems to do this alot. They seem my friends and ask me where they live or what they have or what theyre occupation is. if its not up to their criteria then theyre considered worthless. I dont see how people can act this way. to me its immature and inconsiderate.
Coke or Pepsi? Personally I do like both but i think im more of a pepsi guy. But whos the original. well thats coke, so its got that original taste of sweet tastey goodness, Right now I'm drinking coke. Good stuff bro, hits the spot all day everyday. Also pepsi copany came up with mountain dew and mellow yellow can't even compare to mountain dew. And when mountain dew comes out with a new flavor its always better then the last, Do the dew.
Another song by mumford and sons that makes me really start to thing is Winter Winds. It talks about the conflict between your head and your heart. Which one should you listen to? I realized that it depends on the situation. Your heart tells you what you really want, while your brain gives you the logical choices. I beleive that listening to your heart can give you a lot of insight into life.
My favorite sport to watch would have to be basketball. I love the fast past environment that the game has. The players have a way to get the crowd all excited. My favorite team used to be the pistons. right now they are going through hard times and hopefully they will get through it before next season.
My favorite sport to watch is football. I think that its the most intense sport around. Im a huge green bay fan, and the super bowl was like a second christmas. I finally got the nfl ticket app on my phone, so next season while im up at college, i can watch all the reports, games, and see all the scores, for free.
Today i have to go to one of the guys that used to beon my teams house today and pick up the things i lent him before he got kicked off the team. I have to get it back tonight because my team and I need it for states tomorrow.
I really want to go to Africa. Me and Brooke decide we wanted to go in like second grade. There is a lot of deadly insects and diseases there but it would be worth it. We want to go on a safari and see all the wild animals. Another place I would want to go to is Spain. I think it would be really interesting. I like to see other cultures and see how diffent people are.
Now that the winter season of sports is over, I am starting to realize that everything that I love about high school is slowly ending. Football, homecoming, and wrestling are all over. I know that I will never be able to do them again in this setting. It really makes me sad because I have had so many good memories. If I could go back to freshman year and start over, I would in a heart beat.
Oprah is somehow famous. I dont know how she got so famous, just by hosting a tv show. Maybe I dont know the real story but as far as i can tell, she got kinda lucky. But whatever, she can give all kind of gifts away, so wheres mine? I wanna free house with a backyard pool that comes with an ocean side view.

Honestly, i dont know whow i havent gotten really sick yet My allergies have been really bad ill admit to that. But usually i get deathly sick around this time because my immune system is absolutely horrid. Maybe i should try eating alittle more healthy and alot more fruit to make sure it doesnt happen any time soon! i feel like i just jinxed myself..
Alex page works at a mcdonalds out in waterford, i have yet to go to a mcdonalds out there, but i think it would be funny if i got a group of people together to go wout there and order a 50 peice chicken nugget each. It would drastically slow their driver thruogh and service time, it would be hilarious.
For about the past week, i have been so tired and i don't know what from. I have had such a hard time getting out of bed that now i am just looking forward to the weekend so i can catch up on some sleep. I do not have much planned for this weekend so I am hoping that i can at least sleep in so that next week i am not as tired. Although i have tried going to bed relatively early it has not quite worked out.
I finally finish the alchemist, telling the truth I really don't like to read especially in a foreign language, but at least wasn't a long book and I had time to read it. It was a interesting book even if i don't like to read It opened my mind now I'm really thinking more what i want to do with my life
Have you ever seen a unicorn on a rainbow while driving down the road. Then think i need to catch that damn unicorn? Chase after the unicorn then all of a sudden the unicorn disappears and you are in the middle of someones house in your car. Yeah i bet most of you haven't but the ones that know what i'm talking about, Let the damn Unicorn go, youll never catch him, hes slippery sucker anyways.
Music can be a relaxing thing to all of us after a hard day of school or work. I like to listen to a wide variety of genres. Mostly i like to listen to older rap and hip hop, like back in the early to mid 90's. That was when rap was at its prime. New artisits today dont have any skill. For example T Pain sounds horrilbe, so he uses auto tone to make him sound like a computer. Also every new artist sounds just like the next, and back in the day everyone had their own style.
The school year is coming to an end fast. It has gone by so fast. High school is almost over and I start to wonder, did I leave a legacy behind that people will remember? I think I've accomplished a lot here at Lakeland. I played football for 4 years, I wrestled for 4 years and was captain for 2 years, I was on Homecoming court, I've won the Board of Education Award 2 times. These may seem like huge accomplishments but I feel like something is missing. I want to leave a great legacy behind that others can look up to.
I love snoqwboarding. There is nothing else in this world that will make me as happy. When im out there riding nothing else matters. Snowboarding might just be like an activity or a sport for some people. but to me its a lifestyle. I live, sleep, eat, snowboarding.
what really is the true meaning of love? everyone thinks they know what love is when truely no one knows. love can be beautiful like hearing a birds song in the early morning then out of the blue turn into a tornado spinning things out of everyones control. when you see an elderly couple walking through the park holding hands you think it is a precious moment every girls dream is to be like that. to grow old with the one you love. spending your days walking through the park or having a nice dinner in a wonderful resturant. but when you really look at it no one lives like that. every relationship has its ups and downs. no one if truely happy with their relationship. you think that they are the happiest couple in the world but when you really sit down and pay attention you'll see that they truely are not that happy. im not saying their not happy they just are not living a perfect life, no one does. so the next time you think your IN love with a guy really think about it because love is a strong word and should only be said if truely meant.
ReplyDeleteI am a strong believer in karma. I think that if you do something bad or mean to someone or something, something bad will happen to you in return. I think that its really easy for me to believe in karma because I think that people should get what they deserve. If you don't want karma to get to you, then watch what you do and what you say to people. It's easy to treat people how you want to be treated.
ReplyDeleteI love finishing things early. For example, im doing ths blog at school because im an office assistant. How I became an office assistant? By finishing a class early. Getting things done has been one of my strong suites, thats if the motivation is there. I feel a sense of personal accomplishment when im ahead of schedule. Im trying to develop this habit for all tasks, not just the ones I feel strongly about, but everything. If I can mold myself into this type of individual, I feel I can enjoy the finer things in life and focus on what really matters to me.
ReplyDeleteToday is friday. I love friday because its almost the weekend. And this weekend is going to be especially good, considering we have monday, tuesday, and wednesday off next week. On saturday, however, im really amped to go see the spartans of msu take on the fightin illini. State has been struggling of late, though I feel their bound for a comeback and will hopefully turn around a lost season that had high hopes.
ReplyDeleteI just finished filling out an application for a scholarship at OU. Im really relieved because it was stressing me out for a while. I'm excited to go to Oakland and study to become a successful Doctor. I like to help people and the medical field seems to spark my interest more than everything else. It'd be nice to get the scholarship there so that I don't have to pay as much money. That would be really nice actually!

ReplyDeleteJust completed everything you could possibly imagine for MSU. Picked the room i wanted to stay in, the classes, food, the list goes on and on. I am pretty excited to go to MSU. My sister went there for pre-med, which i am doing too. I plan on becoming a radiologist in the future. This field mostly interest me because, one it involves huge amount of technology, especially in the future, and two it's a good way to help people. Computers have always been something that comes natural to me, so this type of job should not only be interesting but fun. I hope to continue my education for many more years, to be able to get the type of job, and lifestyle i want.
ReplyDeleteHad a pretty good break!!! I spent my entire break working on my car. I took out all the rusted areas, which weren't many, and replaced them. It took me one day to wash my car. i live on a dirt road so it is impossible to keep anything clean. After replacing the rusted areas i put a body filler on, and then sanded it into the normal body. I finished up the project with a primer, and three layers of the cars color. Even though its not perfect, i am proud of what i accomplished. My whole goal was to just protect the car rusted areas until summer and i think i accomplished that. I can't wait for the next project i come up with.
ReplyDeleteThis month of february flew by. I mean, we had a 5 day weekend and now its friday. Plus, we have tuesday off next week and before you know it, its spring break. For spring break im going to florida. I should be fun although I wish I could travel to another country. The Dominicon in paticular. I cant wait for spring break to come, however, its a break from school afterall.
ReplyDeleteWaiting for a college to give you feedback on your admission is stressful. Especially if its a school you would really like to attend. If I cant get into the school of my choice, I guess im gonna have to do community college. In the end, I would like to end up at state. If I get rejected, then occ is what im looking at. I dont wish to apply to other schools simply because im so fond of state. Hopefully God puts me in his graces and hopefully state is where I end up.
ReplyDeleteI love football. A team in particular that I love to watch is the Philadelphia eagles. I used to live in philly and football was huge. Philly fans are some of the most cruel and unforgiving fan base there is. Their passionate about the game and expect big things out of their club. My new hero is michael vick, quaterback of the eagles and an ex participant of dog fighting. Since his sentence, mike has gotten back on track. People still give him a hard time for his past but I feel the man has paid his dues. For those styill holding mike in contempt, just watch him on the gridiron and your feelings will change.
ReplyDeleteexactly 15 weeks from yesturday is the day we graduate. after really thinking about it thats really soon. the closer we get to graduating the more im going to miss highschool. going to college and leaving home is going to be a new experience for all the seniors of 2011. people dont realize it but graduation is coming and its coming fast. to be honest im not ready for it!

ReplyDeleteI want to start looking for a job that pays me more than minimum wage. It's really frustrating knowing that my paycheck could be a lot bigger if I got paid only 60 cents more an hour. I really like my job, though. The people I've met at MJR are some of the greatest people I have ever known. We're like one big family. I think that's what keeps me there.
ReplyDeleteToday I have my widgit speech in 6th hour. I feel im prepared for it but I just hope that its long enough. My invention is simple and maybe could be created. I dont really have a problem with public speaking, as long as im prepared for it. If I know what im going to say, its easy sailing. I just have to take a deep breath, relax, and perform as well as I belive I should.
ReplyDeleteI saw the movie Just Go With It this weekend. It is hilarious! Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston are funny enough by themselves, but even more funny together! I've really been into funny movies lately. Another good movie is No Strings Attached. I've seen it three times; it makes me cry from laughing. I love Natalie Portman! I am so happy she won Best Actress at the Oscars last night. Black Swan was an amazing movie. I only see as many movies as I do because I get to see them for free. That's another advantage of working at a movie theatre.
ReplyDeleteWhat should I do tonight? Considering we dont have school tomorrow, I can treat tonight like a saturday. I have to work from 5 to 830 but after that im free. Theres so much I could do. I could go bowling, read a book, or even hit the movies with some buds. Im getting excited already. Its going to be tough focusing at work because I know im gonna want to be doing something fun, however, I dont mind making money.

Woke up today and didn't feel oh so good. Decided to stay home and take a break. From time to time its always a good thing to just lay in bed until your bored of just sleeping. For this is exactly what i did today. After getting bored of doing absolutely nothing i decided to turn on the TV. This kept me entertained for about thirty minutes than it was back to being bored. Sometimes its almost better to go to school when you don't feel 100% because being bored and sick all day is almost just as bad. For the next time I feel sick, I'll remember to think twice.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to the break tomorrow. I really don't have anything to to do except work on my poster for my speech on Wednesday. Speeches aren't that bad to me, sure they cause me to become a little nervous but nothing out of the norm. After making that I think I might just chill with some friends or even work on my car a little depending on the temperature outside. I just hope whatever I do it makes the day off, worth wild. I hate when we have a day off and I end up just sitting around burring hours upon hours doing nothing but watching TV. But no matter what I do I know I'll be some what happy because I am not in school. School is not bad but having a day off from it can make all the difference in the up coming days while being there. I hope tomorrow doesn't disappoint.
ReplyDeleteFish, Fish, Fish! I think fish are so cute and unique. My favorite kind of fish live in oceans. Just watching fish swim around in fish tanks is amazing. They are very unique animals compared to anything else. The different colors they are and different sizes is cool. I love going to aquariums and seeing many types of fish. Ive has pet fish all my life. Truly, I just love fish!!!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking how guys have it a lot easier than girls do. Like guys get the privilege of standing up when they pee. Public bathrooms are disgusting. And I hate when I have to go to the bathroom so bad but I have to undo my belt and then wipe the seat and then put a seat cover on, which never is an easy task, and then you can finally sit down. By the time I get to pee I have almost peed my pants. Guys are lucky because they just undo their pants and go. Guys are also lucky because they don't have to be a mother. Being a father is a very important job in a childs life but a mother has a very important job. Not only does a mother have to carry the baby for nine monthe but they have to go through the scrutiating pain of giving labor. Then after that the mother is responsible for the basic care of the child. If the mom does not stay home everyday then they usually work and then take care of the house, cook dinner, do laundry, and still be a wife and mom. Basically boys have it easier but I would rather be a girl any day.
ReplyDeleteI don't really like to read. If I read something I like it to be a story that will really impact my life. I like to read love stories and stories that show you about peoples lives. There are people in thos world that really struggle. Like children that are abused or kidnapped, rapes that go on to everybody especially childre. One of my favorite books is Sold. Its about a girl who gets sold by her father so that he can buy a roof. She gets sold into sex slavery basically. She gets put into a whore house and things are bad from there.
ReplyDeleteI have a really difficult time peeing on demand. Trying to pee in a cup at the doctors is impossible it takes so long. One time when I went to the doctors I had to pee in a cup and it took me an hour and a half. And the thing was I really had to pee. I drank so much that I almost threw up. I can't pee under pressure. I get so nervous but I have no clue why.
ReplyDeleteI am about to take a quiz in Accounting. I think I'm going to do well so I'm not too worried about it. I am worried about my Calculus quiz later, though. I'm getting better at Calculus but I still struggle. Math is one of my stronger subjects... but this year I don't know what's going on half the time. I'm just going to be confident about it and maybe I will do better than I think I will. I just hope that I don't fail it, because the terms almost over and it will bring my grade down. I have all A's except for Calculus, it's frustrating.
ReplyDeleteRight now I am working at wee discover its a child care. My parents don't make a lot of money so they were never able to buy me a car. So right now I am working to save up the money. I make about two hundred dollars a week so by april I should have enough money to buy a car. I am so excited because it makes me happy to know that I did it all on my own. I think that people now a days either have everything given to them or want everything to be given to them. People don't want to actually work to get things. Nobody wants to be self sufficient. That is what's wrong with society is that no body wants to actually work for anything they want the most amount of money for the least amount of work. Which doednt work if you want a great society to live in. That is why america is crashing and is not as great of a society as it used to be.

ReplyDeleteI never would have thought that I would like government or politics. I always thought it was boring and confusing. If anyone ever brought the subject up I would tell them to shut up. Everyone always argues over politics but that is because its a very controversial idea everyone has there own opinion on it. I am in AP Gov right now with Mr.Howe. He makes politis interesting and a lot less confusing. He's a really good teacher. I am really starting to enjoy government. I like to learn about what's going on in the world and in our own country.
ReplyDeleteI am strongly against abortion. I feel that it is completely wrong. There is a child in that mother that has a right to live if they want. They don't have a voice when they are in your stomach and they are counting on you to keep them safe. Babies can feel things in the first month which mean that they can feel whatever is going on and is happening to them. Like if you get a suction abortion they feel that and then they're dead. That's not fair to the children. They need help and someone needs to stand up for them because it would be murder. Even if I got pregnant or was raped no matter how much I wouldn't want to tell my parents I would keep it. There are other options out there use them.
ReplyDeleteI think that people should give more credit to people that give their lives for this country. People don't understand how privileged we are. Americans these days are so spoiled and want everything given to them. There are tons of people out there that have given there lives for them. Even if you don't agree with war or don't agree with everything. You need to show support. Those people give up all they have to go out and fight for you. They need to know that back home we actually care about them and support them. I feel so bad for the veterans of the vietnam war. Just because no one agreed with the war those veterans were treated terribly and they don't deserve that at all. People who serve this country give up there familys there everyday life and sometimes even there own life. Give people in the armed forces some support I guarantee you will make their day.
ReplyDeleteLove is very complicated. I fell in love with my boyfriend almost a year ago. Some people may say you don't know what love is your too young or you can't be in love with someone that early. But the truth is I am. I absolutely adore my boyfriend. No matter what even if he's being a jerk or made me cry I still know that he loves me and I love him. And I know that people say that high school relationships never last and the percentage of being high school sweethearts and getting married is very slim. Well this is one of those circumstances where I want to be a statistic.
ReplyDeleteAbout seven years ago I lost my papa. He was my favorite person in the whole wide world. Not only was he my grandpa but he also acted as my father sometimes and my best friend. Me and my papa would spend so much time together. I would color with him and he would buy me huge jars of pickles because he knew I loved them. Whenever I wanted to get away from my mom I just called up my papa and he would come get me. It saddens me that my cousins didn't really spend time with him or get to even meet him. My sister was at her dads all the time and didn't really care, my cousin ashley was sort of little and was a brat, my cousins merick and alexis were about three and my cousin mariah was two. But I feel bad that my cousin logan, london and the new baby on the way don't get to meet him. He truly was the most amazing grandpa ever. I am really going to miss him. In fact I miss him everyday especially when I actually think about him. I really wish he was here I would definitely live with him. I wish I could see how proud of me he was. I want to show him all that I am doing and share all my plans with him. I want him to see me graduate. I was his first grandchild and his favorite. Shush he told me. :) but it saddens me that I will never have him back.
ReplyDeleteI think that smoking is really disgusting. Smoking is so bad for you. It can give you cancer it gave my grandpa lung cancer which helped him die. I would never ever smoke. It is purely disgusting. It rots your teeth and makes your breath smell bad plus damages your insides. I even think that second hand smoking is bad. My grandpa used to smoke around me all the time and when I finally got old enough I yelled at him because I told him that what ever he smokes I smoke too. Which second hand smoking is even worse because its not filtered. Basically just don't smoke its gross. And it hurts everyone around you not just you
ReplyDeleteMy boyfriend seth is planning on going into the marines when he is eighteen. This makes me excited because I know how much guts it takes to give up everything to fight for your country. But it also scares the crap out of me. Seth is my true love and I plan on getting married to him one day. I'm scared that he will get hurt or maybe lose his life. I don't think I can live without him. I actually know that I can't but if I had to if it was Gods will then I would have to but it would be extremely tough. I'm also scared to just be away from him. I have trouble being away from him for a day let alone a week a month maybe a few months to a year. I don't know how I will be able to pick myself up eachday and do what I need to do. I know its going to be extremely tough but I am trying to prepare myself for it.
ReplyDeleteI'm not really fascinated with my parents right now. I haven't really been getting along with them the past few months. We don't really see eye to eye anymore. I hate when they fight. I have never wanted to listen to them argue. I hope that I never argue around my children they don't need to see me arguing with my husband they need to see love not hostility. I have just grown away from my parents. I am really ready to be on my own and be self sufficient I don't want to live with my parents anymore or rely on them anymore but unfortunately I have to right now because I don't have a lot of money.

At that time I had a hard time remembering his middle name so I named my monkey his middle name thomas. But now I can't sleep without him. Even if I go to someones house I have to have him. ReplyDeleteToday was one of the most hectic days ever. I came home from a full day of school thinking I would have the rest of the day to just chill and relax before my town meeting at seven, but was I wrong. After being home for only 30 minutes, I received a call from my boss asking if I could come in a cover for someone who was sick. If you knew me you would know that I can't deny anyone something along these line. So in essence I said yes knowing that I just threw away my whole day. Got to worked and thought to myself that I would be off at seven and than go to the meeting and than head home, but yet again I was wrong. While there my boss asked me if I could stay after and help re-organize the kitchen. I said yes knowing I had a meeting that I would miss, but I went after what my boss wanted instead of my wants. Right before it was time to leave my boss came up to me and said I didn't have to stay because she had other things to do instead. All in all it seemed to go my way and I was grateful I had time to do everything plus make some money.

For all I know, I could rot, six feet under the Earth’s surface, and stay there, with my soul forever. I don’t know how these things work, and I don’t want to find out anytime soon. I’m not even sure I’ve done anything exceptional to send me to Heaven, or horrible enough to send me to Hell. I’m not really even sure I want to go to either place. Maybe I can create a place of my own to go to after I die.

I think it is a fun way to pass time. Its easy and you can be very creative. My favorite kind of cupcake is homemade red velvet with creamcheese frosting. Its also my favorite cupcake to make its messy but delicious.
ReplyDeleteI used to be a big animal lover and absolutely hated those commercials on t.v. where it played a sad song with a beaten dog or something. Now I'm beginning to hate all animals. This is because of the fact my dogs are horrible. My one dog eats poop while the other chews up everything in sight. Now don't get me wrong I feel like they should have been trained a LOT more, but both my parents work a full time job and I'm at school all the time. Anyway, they are monsters and I has made me not want to have a dog or any other animal for that matter.

Her class is always so much fun and she is son entertaing. Her porjects and assigments always make you want to do them because they are fun. Weekends are a time of freedom for teenagers. Being able to hang with friends and go have fun without worrying about school. You can stay up late without having to wake up at 6:00 in the morning. But the hardest thing about weekends is thinking of something to do. You get sick of doing the same thing every weekend but there is nothing new to do. It gets frustrating when you cant think of anything to do thats different.

ReplyDeleteToday im going to my first town meeting! Its a requirment for Senior Government. Im not too excited about going expecially since i heard the one im going to last a long time. Ive been to one town meeting before with a friend but it wasnt for a grade. I hope this meeting doesnt last very long and i hope it talks about interesting topics.
ReplyDeleteSoo i really hate the winter, its cold, dark, and just ew. I love the fact that now when im on my way to school its light outside, that means summer is on its way, YAY(: my favorite season of the year is summer, its warm, pretty outside, and you can do anything outside, unlike winter i dont even wanna step outside. Summer it just GREAT. Theres no school, no snow, no homework, no being bored, theres always something to do in the summer! i honestly dont know how anyone could dislike the summer. When i get older i want to move to florida or somewhere warm cause i cant stand the cold!

well i was super excited for this weekend because i had alot of plans with my friends. My plans are ruined because my parents informed me last night that we are going to ohio this weekend. There is the Arnold Classic this weekend, which is a event that has car show gymnastic events, boat shows, many many things. My sister is a gymnast so she will be attending that while me and my dad race our go karts at the Columbus Expo Center. I always have a lot of fun, but it is super tiring. We get up at 230 am friday night, what would actually be Saturday morning to leave. Its an indoor oval race and we are usually pretty fast. Im excited but it sucked my fun plans got ruined.
ReplyDeleteLately I've been thinking about the subject of love. I don't mean this in a sappy smoochie kinda way, but the love that doesn't work out right. Getting out of a bad relationship made me realize that not all people are emotionally stable and ready for love. Being 17 years old may have a huge part with that especially since most people think love is just physical attraction towards one another. Not all people, but most. I think "love" is being thrown around so much that its losing it's meaning and then when you do find someone you truly care about it's not going to mean the same since you said it to every jo shmo.

4 more months left in michigan! Thats really close and im not sure if im ready to move. At the end of July i will be living in Athens, Tennessee. Im excited yet sad because i have to leave all my friends and family here. im ready to experience living in a new state. I love being in the country but close enough to go shopping in the city.

I feel overwhelmed with where to start, my late work that i cant get full credit on, my homework that i probably wont finish anyways, or next weeks assignments that i can work on later on. Teachers should have 2 days a week where you just catch up on assignments. seminar doesnt work, kids who go to otc arent ever there and the kids who are there cant help but socialize, its human nature. but then maybe thats why we dont have make up days..nobody would actually do work. ReplyDeleteI like dogs. I have a dog. I have a newfoundland and If you know about dogs you know that this dogs is huge. When he stands up on his back legs he is taller than me. He is very playful. But even though he is a big dog, he is the biggest baby, if he does not have everyones attention he will still start whining really loud.
ReplyDeleteLately i have been working sooo much. i love my job and its something i plan on doind for the future. I work at a nursing home and also as a home health aid at someones house. Last night i worked second shift at the nursing home, which is 3pm to 11pm. I get really tired because i go straight from school to work and then i dont get home until 1130. Its definitly a long day for me. I plan on going to college and getting my credentials out of the way and then getting into nursing school as soon as possible... and its going very good so far:) Not to mention its super good pay!

ReplyDeleteI thought senior year was going to be the most fun and fly by. Well suprise, I was wrong. This is the most stressful, time consuming, annoying year of my life. Teachers are piling on the work and to be quite honest I've never understood why they do this. We sit at school all day and then have to go home and do MORE work? Someone needs to seriously explain that to me.
ReplyDeleteOn febuary 15th, my dad died of cancer. It is sad, but we all had already accepted it before it happened because he was sick for years. "im sorry" is not what i want to hear, you didnt give him cancer and you couldnt save his life. I miss him but he doesnt have to suffer anymore.
ReplyDeleteLove is so overrated! yeah i have a bf of 1 year and 7 months, but its just a strong word. I agree with heather 17 year olds mainly arent ready for this thing called love. we have to live our life, were still kids. We should be having fun, not kissy kissy with our soo called loved ones. Live your life people, you dont need a signifant other to make you happy. Friends can do that just as well. What im trying to get at is dont waste to much time trying to please one person. Make yourself happy, and dont cancle the people out of your life for that one person. Odds are they wont be in your life forever, go have fun!

We both just have really big attitudes and we clash sometimes. Niki and I have been friends since 7th grade... but we don't remember how we met. Who cares that lucy the dog on jefferson street likes to drink a gallon of water at a time and runs laps around the back yard? I dont understand how facebook is so important and how people can sit there for hours every day looking at status's and playing games. If you want to know what your friend is doing, go over to their house. Why do you have to talk to each other through wall posts when you live 2 miles away and can just walk over there?

My boyfriend Jonathan's sister is having her baby soon and someone needs to watch her other two daughters. I also have a doctor's appointment in Lansing today at 3:30... so I have to leave around 2. Jon's going with me. Also, before I leave for that, I have to go work with my grandma. My grandma cleans people's houses. She is getting old so I vacuum and wash all of the windows in the houses she cleans. I won't have time to do that if I don't leave school early. And after all of that, I have to go to a town meeting! It's going to be so boring.
ReplyDeleteIn response to brookes blog, Yes, i have a big attitude, but the fact is... i am sensitive, haha. yes i know, hard to believe. but its the truth. maybe it was my childhood. oh man. haha. just kidding. i had a good childhood. i mean, i know it wasnt perfect but i know that i am blessed for the people and things i have in my life. Including Michael who just returned home from afganistan three days ago. :) he came and surprized me at work, which is where you can normally find me if im not at school or sleeping. haha. what an exciting life i live. :P
ReplyDeleteNext monday I have to take the baby home from child developement. I'm honestly not looking forward to this because I love sleep and since the baby will be cutting into my nap time then it makes me extremely pessimistic about the whole assignment. I think that people who are debating having a child should have to take that crying thing home. Not a girl in highschool learning about developement for a credit before she leaves to go to college. Anyway I'll keep that positive attitude going and blog about it later.
ReplyDeleteWell Mr. Kehoe is being nice and giving us a free day today. I'm really happy because now I can work on my personal philosophy rough draft that is due tomorrow. I don't really know what exactly I want to write about yet. There's been a lot of things I've experienced and people I've met that have made me who I am right now. I think the biggest incident that has affected me was my car accident where I broke my jaw. Not being able to talk for 6 weeks really gave me time to think. I think the person that has had the biggest impact on me was my grandma johnson. We were so close, and I saw her all the time. She passed away in March 2008. It was a really difficult time. Well now I have some ideas to write about... so I should probably go start that paper.
ReplyDeleteI got into ferris state. my half sister went there and a lot of my family lives in that area of the state so it is kind of cool. If i ever needed help with anything, i have so much family nearby and i mean i dont understand why anyone wouldnt want their family near their school. they have nobody to fall back on if something goes wrong and they need help to get out of a rut.

ReplyDeleteI love pizza. my favorite pizza topping is pineapple, i also like mushrooms, ham, green peppers, pepperoni, tomatoes, and thats about it. i dont understand how people can eat pizza without a million toppings on it. i like so many toppings on mine that you cant see the cheese, and when i order my pizza i always tell them that i dont want to see the cheese only the toppings. when i was little i used to eat only the toppings and leave the cheese and bread alone. i think i will have pizza for dinner tonight! -Marisa
I am bored. I cant wait to go to otc. i feel that way every day. weve been growing tomatoes in the green house and they are so good. Our tomato plants are only about a foot below the ceiling. we are growing them hydroponically which is my favorite way to grow plants because you dont have to worry about over watering them and depending which hydroponics system you use you dont even have to add more water. for like 2 weeks they had me laying bricks in the greenhouse and we are making a waterfall that my friend corey likes to call a chimney-because that is exactly what it is looking like at this point. i think everyone should have to take a greenhouse/langscaping class because it is really fun. at first when i applied to otc i wanted to be in the health sciences cluster but i got into the biotechnolgy and environmental sciences cluster. i made the most of my time and now i am greatful that i got into biotech instead of health because i wouldnt have made all the friends that i did and i wouldnt have gotten all the experience that i did. In my class at otc we are going to an envirothon competetion for scholarships and other cool stuff and if we pass the next competitions we can go to states! last year we went camping during the state competition up outside of traverse city and it was so fun
ReplyDeleteI really miss the days when I used to have time to do nothing. I feel like I'm always running around doing something. I mean sometimes I like to keep busy, but when it gets to the point where you don't have time for sleep, it gets annoying. When I had endless free time I used to just play my drums or guitar for hours. It was so much fun. I really miss having a lot of time for music. I do pick up my guitar a couple times a week, but that's not enough. I think I should make time for music because it's something I thoroughly enjoy. It's a way to let out stress and clear my mind. I wish I had more friends that liked to play too, like it was in middle school. At least twice a week a couple friends would come over and just make music. Or try to, at least. Haha. But it was so much fun.
ReplyDeleteI hate listening to rude people. Not to say that I can't be rude, but I know the time and place. At school you always hear kids making fun of others or just being mean. I wish everyone would just get along sometimes; it would make everything so much easier. I deal with a lot of disrespectful people at work as well. If something is wrong with their popcorn or something dumb they always yell at you for it. And what really is frustrating about the whole subject is that concessions is not even my job! Sorry your drink is flat and your popcorn is too salty, but it doesn't concern me at all. I walk around and sweep up the garbage you drop everywhere and flush you toilets you're too lazy to, so leave me alone. I could yell at everyone for being so messy all the time but I don't. The only reason I don't is because I would get fired... and I'm not trying to have that happen.

ReplyDeletei got a new bike today! since my G.P.A was a 3.82 for the first semester, i got to pick out a new frame. i picked the eastern grim reaper 2 agian. its one of the lightest street bikes you can get. the frame only weights 4.00 pounds! it pays off being a nerd!

ReplyDeletelike half way throigh my freshman year i realised that appoximatly 99.99% of the people at lakeland love to do drugs. i dont know what made it so popular. coming from middle school to high school is a big step. the parties are sweeter and it seems like everyone just like to get messed up. i can only imagine how its gonna be when i get to college.

ReplyDeletethe other day i was driving back from 7-11 with my friends billy and drew. billy was doing about 60 in a 40 and we passed a cop. the roads were kinda crappy so when the cop turned around to pull us over he slipped into the ditch on the side of the road. i thought it was on of the funniest things ever. dumb cop serves your right!

Its 8:19 at night and i still havent wrote my essay. I cant think of anything to write about ive been looking at a blank screen for 10 mins now. This must be my hardest essay ever! Im having such a hard time of thinking of something to write about. I wish something would just magically pop into my head.

ReplyDeleteRealized that the school year is coming to an end today and it seems like it just started. Now that I look back on my four years in high school I realize all the obstacles I have crossed. As a freshman I overcame the obstacle of coming into a new area and learning the new ways. Sophomore year I knew the ropes and started to focus on school and doing well. Continuing on into junior year I started preparing myself to get ready for college life and a new set of challenges. Now as I look back on these years as a senior I take into account all I have done and also some of the things I could have done differently. I look forward to the challenges that I meet in the future.
ReplyDeleteCan't really find anything to eat around this house. Since lunch is so early on in the day by the time I get home I am hungry again. Having this urge to eat and having no food in the house fill this urge is never a good feeling. Instead of having three meals a day I usually on have two because I never have any food, that I like, for breakfast. My favorite food is probably twice baked potatoes. I don't know how I got hooked on potatoes but I pretty much will eat any type of potatoes. The foods I won't eat are few but include tomatoes, onions, and some seafood. All in all we need some more food in this house.
ReplyDeleteI seem to be slightly old for the grade I am in. Its not anything to much but I have been 18 for 4 months and everyone around me is still 17. Being 18 feels like 17 but actually has lots of perks. One you can buy anything except alcohol, and two you can sign yourself out from school. I have signed myself out once so far and it just feels good to know you actually have control over your life and no one makes the decisions for you. I can't wait to see what 19 brings.
ReplyDeleteToday I have a lot to do in Accounting class, but I figure my blogs are more important at the moment. So today after school I have to go work with my Grandma, and I really don't feel like it. I'm so tired. But then when I get home I'm going to take a nap until I have to work later in the day at 5. I'm not really looking forward to that either, but oh well. I just hope my headache goes away before tonight. I wish I could just sleep for like 24 hours and I'd be perfect. Speaking of sleep, I love my bed. I have one of those memory foam things on the top of my bed, and it is so nice. I feel like I'm sleeping on a cloud. The only downside to it being so comfortable is how hard it is to get out of bed in the morning.
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is that my life is pretty plain. I like watching the puddles gather rain. And all I can do is just pour some tea for two and speak my point of view but its not sane. I just want someone to say to me, "Ill always be there when you wake." You know id like to keep my cheeks dry today, so stay with me and ill have it made. And I dont understand why I sleep all day and I start to complain that theres no rain. And all I can do is read a book to stay awake, and it rips my life away but its a great escape.
ReplyDeleteSo disappointed the weekend is almost over. It always seems to go by extremely fast. I always wondered what it would be like to only go to school for 3-4 days and than have the rest of the week off. All though this would basically make it so that we would have to go to school year round, I think it might be more enjoyable as well as less stressful. Another thing that bugs me is how our school district never seems to close. I don't understand why we have to always be open even when it is a safety hazard to everyone just to get there. You would think common knowledge would tell you different but i guess not.
ReplyDeleteMy life is spiraling downward, right in front of my eyes. I feel like I have no control over it, either. I’m losing connections with everything I care about. Just when I think things are turning around, everything slips out from under me. Everything that just took 85 steps forward, turns around to take 286 back. How can one person sit around and take all of this? Is it even possible to survive so much hatred? Obviously it is, I have survived, only to tell the tales of this sick world. It’s an unfortunate task to endure. Leaving me to ask, does anyone else suffer the same way I do? Does anyone else live in the same state of mind as I? I sit back and wonder when things are going to turn around, at the same time, I say that I am happy. What is this game I continuously play in my mind? Am I happy, or am I a good pretender? I’m not sure I can stand this game much longer…

Just got back from work and for once I am not tired. Work was not too bad today it was pretty slow for most the day. The only downfall to being slow all day is having the whole day seem to take forever to be over. Got home and had some food my mother made, which makes me happy. After that I continued on to do some of the homework I have. Which then lead me to start this blog. I really hope this week doesn't last forever.

Usually my whole day involves working, and that usual involves nothing interesting to talk about. Either way I am coming to an end with these things. I only have four more too go so the end is somewhat near. All I have to do is just think of something else to write about.

After that probably going to take a shower and then try and start memorizing part of my memorization speech. I am fairly confident in memorizing stuff so this should be an easy speech to give. I am trying to only have to memorize one poem but I don't know if it will be long enough.
ReplyDeleteFriday March 4 was my first day of my vacation, and today was a travel day, so we went to metro airport and of course I had to go through the new full body scanners. Then we got to the gate and the plane was dealyed. The plane was an hour late so we when we got to Denver we had to run to catch are connecting flight to Reno. Overall I was sitting on planes for over 5 and 1/2 hours. When we got to Reno, all of are bags did luckly make it there. At that point we got on the shuttle to take us to Squaw Valley Ski Resort in Lake Tahoe. The time we got to the hotle it was 1 a.m. there time, so it was 4 a.m. are time, so I just crashed.
ReplyDeleteSaturday March 5. Today we got up and had some breakfast then we un packed are bags, and then went out skiing. It was nice and sunny all day, however it was quite busy. After a long day of skiing, we went back into the hotel room, and got dressed to go out to dinner. We went to one of the best restraunts I have been to in a while. After that we walked around the village and went to this cookie shop, which was said to have the best cookies, they were pretty good.
ReplyDeleteToday Sunday the 6, the 3 hour time difference is really staring to be felt seeming I was up at 5:30 a.m. there time. So we all just sat in the room until the breakfast palces opened. After we ate breakfst we went out skiing, but there was about 4 new inches of snow. But when we went out skiing It was still snowing, it was like a blizzard. It snowed up in the mountain all day. We skiied for most of the day today, we just got back from doing some shopping around the village. We are going to be getting ready for dinner in a little while!
ReplyDeleteMe and my friends started this habit of creeping. Whenever were driving in the car we'll look over at the car next to us with a weird look and creep the other person out. It sounds obnoxious and weird but seriously it's the funniest thing to watch people's facial expressions. Some get mad, most get weirded out, but some creep back which makes it ten times funnier.
ReplyDeleteIts crazy to think about how fast everyone grew up. Moving from freshman year to senior year has been an experience that not only flew by, but also was like a roller coaster ride. It's sad to say high school is over but I can't wait to start college and experience new things. It's going to be nice to not have to deal with freshman and have a higher percentage of mature people. Bottom line, I'm excited, but getting really impatient for it.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy being in plays. Musicals are my favorite. Right now I am in my church play passion of the christ. I don't have any major part or a solo but I would like one. I hope to get one next year. I have been in the play for about six years now. I really like doing it. We have choir practice every Sunday and in april we have practices like three times a week. Our first performance is the Friday before good Friday. I'm really excited.
ReplyDeleteI really hate headaches. I usually have them everyday because of my car accidents and jaw issues. It's really annoying, and it make me miss a lot of school. I've had a headache for 37 hours now, and I'm not happy about it. The medicine my doctor gave me isn't working this time. I just get sick of it, but I guess it's something I just have to deal with.

I'm happy that I'm hanging out with them lately because I guess there is some drama going on with my friends at school. Well it doesn't really involve me, but it's annoying and I try to not associate myself with people like that. It doesn't bother me that I don't talk to them anymore. I'm excited to go to college and make new friends. I do have a couple great friends from high school that I'll stay in touch with, though. :)
ReplyDeleteSo I'm pretty sure most people know that my favorite band is paramore. I have a ton of paramore stuff and I listen to them all the time. My friend Sam and I fell in love with their music in 7th or 8th grade.. I don't really remember when it was. I just remember it was when they weren't as big as they are now. It was really cool watching them get more popular throughout the years, and they never changed their style of music. Recently the two brothers left the band, which is really heartbreaking. I know they can find people to play for them easily, but it will just be different. After they come out with a new record it just makes me more anxious for another one. I think I like them so much because I feel like a lot of the songs can relate my life. Incubus is another one of those bands. Plus, brandon boyd is super attractive so that makes it even better!

I get a workout, walking every which way, going to every classroom. It gets boring after a while but hey, its easy to do. Well the bell just rang, now im heading to my 4th hour which is ap chem. ReplyDeleteHow many people are Catholic? There are probably not as many as everyone thinks. So why do everyone have to eat a lot of food before lent? Thinking about it, eating the food before is actually defeating the purpose of the whole lent. With people eating fish on Fridays actually does not make any sense either. The fish is still meat so eating it would really be against the whole thing.

ReplyDeleteI was supposed to attend a concert on march 23rd with my cousin and a couple of friends of ours, three of our favorite bands are playing that night and we are no longer able to go to this concert because when we got online to order our tickets they had been sold out.

He likes to chew tobacco, normally he chews grizzly wintergreen, but today he is chewing grizzly mint because BP was out of wintergreen. I think that chewing tobacco is disgusting and i would never do it.

ReplyDeleteRight now i am waiting to go home and get my new speakers. I ordered a pair of 6" by 9" kicker ks693 speakers for my monte carlo. I bought these to replace the crappy factory speakers that come with the car. I ordered these from a website called Crutchfield. Theyy give good prices and good customer service. They also have free shipping and its also fast. I sent my order in on monday the 7th, and getting them today the 9th. These speakers are going to sound great.
ReplyDeleteThis year is a really laid back year for me. Sometimes i think that i wait to long to start doing projects or whatever i have to do. I still have to apply for college. Msybe i should take a semester off and makes some mone/ take it easy :) But if dont start college right away, im afraid that i wont want to go back to school. I remember when everyone complained about paying two bucks per gallon for gas. i heard that gas could possible raise to a price of five dollars per gallon before the end of spring. If it gets that high, i dont know what i am going to do. I wish i had the money to start drilling in my backyard, to find oil. Then i would not have to worry about money anymore. They say that the rise in the price of gas is caused by the political unrest in the middle east and in libia. We need to overcome these problems and reduce the price of gas, becuase it is killing all of us.
ReplyDeleteWhen I woke up today and stepped out of bed I realized my legs were really sore. It was because yesterday was hell week for soccer.We are condidtioning for tryouts next week. I hate going to hell week but I know I should. Next week determines if I graduate or not because I never took a gym class so I am required to be on a highschool sport for 4 seasons. Iv'e been on the soccer team since freshman year so this will be the 4th season if I make it. So there is a lot of presure on me this year to make sure I won't get cut from varsity. Previous years I always had JV to fall back on if I were to not make varsity but now I don't because it's senior year. I am reallay nervous but i am just going to try really hard.

ReplyDeleteLast Friday was the last day I went to work until summer starts. I have been babysitting for this family every weekday since last year, even through the summer. It was a great job because the girls were older and not hard to take care of. I got really close with their family, they even liked to say they thought of me as an older sister. I spent more time at thier house than I did at mine over the year because their mom worked so much. It was really weird this Monday when I didn't go to their house after school because I was so used to it. also, I'm going to have to get used to not having a steady income week to week. But once summer starts I am going to babysit for the same family again.

ReplyDeleteWinter seems way too long this year. I want it to be over now. Summer is always the best. I love the sun and swimming everyday. You don't have to worry about much of anything in the summer. It is usually relaxed and stress free. I just want to be done with school and spend my summmer doing whatever I want. I'm pretty sure I will just go running early in the morning, work until around five, and then have my friends over to swim and eat. Last year summer flew by too fast and I feel like this year it will go by even faster becasue I will be going to college.
ReplyDeleteCollege is going to be awesome. I am really excited to go to Central Michigan University. I'm not really nervous about leaving home at all. My best friend is going to be my room mate, so that will be good. We are going to have two other suite mates. We hope we get people who we get along with and are nice. I don't really know what I want to major in yet because I don't know what I want to be after I graduate. I was thinking of event planning, interior designer, or something in child care. I think I'm leaning more towards child care, but I'm still trying to decide.

ReplyDeleteThe best part of waking up is folgers in your cup...not mine! i like hot chocolate for breakfast. i never understood the reason behind drinking coffee. most people hate the taste of it anyways, thats why they add sugar and creamer to it. I think they only like the caffeine and the sugar. But i say if you want sugar and caffeine drink a pop or some tea, much better tasting.
ReplyDeleteI wish i knew anything about cars but i know nothing. so this is how i shop for cars: ask these questions, how much is it? whats wrong with it? what does it cost to fix? doesnt that make me sound stupid?? how would i know anything about cars unless someone sat down and told me stuff. its kind of sad that i know absolutely nothing about cars seeing as my grandpa worked for GM FOREVER and my uncle works on cars and everyone and their brother knows something about cars.

ReplyDeleteThe drinking age should be lowered to 18. almost everyone under 18 has tried a drink before anyways and its just making more work and taking more money from the state for all of the incidents of underage drinking in people ages 18-20 who should be mature enough to know when they have had enough to drink and definately know what not to do already (i.e. drink and drive).
ReplyDeleteive never thought that homeless people should not be helped. before my dad died, he tried his hardest to share with everyone he could. he lived in traverse city and proudly could say he knew every single homeless person. Many people dont know this or dont want to believe it, but madonnas brother, anthony cicconi, is homeless and he lives in traverse city. he was one of my dads best friends, and not to say that the guy needs no help as everyone on the planet needs or will need help but madonna has so much money and she ignores her brother instead of getting help for him? why adopt some african kid when you cant even help the family you already have? that is selfish and i have zero respect for her.
ReplyDeleteI recently joined my first gym after trying it out for 3 days. My sister works out there too which kinda sucks. I mean I love her, but she's really obnoxious and annoying sometimes. Instead of having the guy show me how to use the machines, she is apparently pro and wanted to show me herself. Rahh, frustrating but oh well. I leave for college soon and she's moving out, so I guess bonding is in order.

ReplyDeleteSo on monday night I had the baby from child development. In case people didn't know it's the updated version that you literally have to change the diaper and feed it with a bottle. In order to get a good grade I had to figure out what it wanted in under 2 minutes. Not only was it unrealistic, but also a pain. It made me realize that I definitly DO NOT want children for a long long time. Even then I want to be a stay at home mom since I don't trust day care and couldn't handle working at the same time.
ReplyDeleteTennis is starting soon which I'm really excited about. I've been practicing all winter at a raquet club which helped me improve my skills a lot. It's going to be weird without my district champs from last year, but I think we'll repeat our winning streak again. Knock on wood. The only bad part about this season is that Mr. Schrubert, my coach of all 3 years, isn't able to be our coach. Since his health is getting bad he isn't able to work, which means not being able to coach. This hurt the team because he has been a motivator and supporter to every individual.

Everything you do doesn't have to be for approval for other people, it should be just for you and how to improve yourself. To get something you really want, you have to work hard to acheive it. If there isn't any effort, there isn't the result you wanted.
I really need a job, my sister just recently got one and im sorta jealous. Ive applied places i just never get called. Im hoping that i get this one job tho. Im sick of not having money, it sucks. Everyones always like ohh gotta go to work, but nope not me! i say ohh gotta go home! cool huh? yeah i know. i have wants and needs, how am i supposed to fill those wants and need with no money? everything cost money in the world today, oh wouldnt it be nice for everything to just be FREE!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteFor spring break im making my own in michigan. I cant go anywhere which kinda sucks, but im sure ill get over it. I hear all my friends talking about spring break, it upsets me that i cant go anywhere. Its something ive been waiting for my whole high school years, and now its crushed :( i would of liked to go to the dominican republic with people but thats not gonna happy, my parents wont let me leave the country. So im just gonna have a blast in good ol michigan, and make the best out of it.
ReplyDeleteLying is just a HORRIBLE thing. i honestly dont see the point in lying. If you tell the truth you feel good about your self, you wont get into as much trouble, and youll get more respect. Even if its not what someone wants to hear. Ive learned that the hard way. Just recently ive learned that lying gets you know where, my bf was lying to me about where he was and i cought him in the lie. i was like to him look you dont have to lie to me im not gonna leave you or anything, just be honest and i wont care, even if i dont like it. and he still wouldnt tell me till later on. I got really upset because 1. i dont ever lie to him, i made that mistake. 2. i dont understand why he feels the need to lie. im sure i can say this for everyone, id rather hear the truth than a lie.

i love my room. Everything has a place and and ther is a place for everything as some people would say. I like all of my things tobe neat and organized. I go crazy when my room gets messed up. When I think about it,I spend a lot of time cleaning it and reorgainzing things. Whenever I am stressed I just go in my room and everything is perfect and in oreder so it helps calm me down. I need organization in my life or else I go insane.
ReplyDeleteMy cousin had her 8th birthday this past sunday and while we were there i had to help my aunt with keeping track of all of her friends as well as taking them on the go karts because most of them were too young and too short to drive them on their own, while we were there my cousin who had just turned 8 the day prior to her birthday party had gotten bumped on the head by one of her friends in her class, she didn't have the best birthday she could have but for her it was a good one.
ReplyDeleteMonday the 7th. Today was SUPPOSED to be the last day of my vacation of acctually skiing before I fly home tommorow. But it started to snow, we were skiing and then it became a blizzard out on the mountain so they had to close it down. Are travel company offered us to stay so we have decided to.
ReplyDeleteThe scarest thing happened also on Monday in the blizzard. One of the chairlifts stop moving while we were on the top of the mountain getting lunch. This poor man was stuck on the chair lift for more than an hour, in a complete white out. I felt so bad for the guy has he must have been wanted to jump, but it is such a long way down. Finally ski patrol got up to him and attached a bunge cord to him for he could go down to the ground.
ReplyDeleteBrooke Johnson is one of the best people I have ever meet in my life.I have known her since kindergarten. We ended up going to different schools for three years but we became bestfriends friends again in highschool.I am really fortunate to have her as a friend. I can literally tell her anything. She never judges me and can give really helpful advise. She is one of the only two people I can count on for something really important. But what I love most about Brooke, is that no matter how long we haven't spent time together or hung out, there is nothing awkward about it when we do. We always laugh until our stomachs hurt and have fun even when we are doing nothing.

Today it finally stopped snowing at about 10 a.m., so we then went out skiing and it turned out to be a pretty nice day. however I refused to go on the chair lift that the man got stuck on. We skiied for most of the day and then we went out to dinner and then went to bed. Overall it was actually a really good day
ReplyDeleteToday the 9th. Since the travel company extended are trip, today we did not go skiing we did some other things. We went dog sledding and that was so much fun those dogs surely can run fast, but they do stink a little. We also went snowtubing which also really fun and I started to feel like a little kid again. and just a while ago we went ice-skating on the top of the mountain.
ReplyDeleteThe other day I went to the child care center,Wee Discover, to get an application to work there in the summer. I have to fill it out and bring it back in May so they can hire workers for the summer. I really hope I get a job there because I think I would really enjoy it. I would still babysit for the family I always babysit for but the days I would work at Wee Discover , my sister would fill in for babysitting for me. So we would pretty much just be splitting up the job. I did my job shadow at Wee Discover last semester and liked it alot. I want to get some experience working with children from ages 3-4 because I am so used to watching older kids.
ReplyDeleteOne thing I have noticed from being out here in lake tahoe, Califorina is that everything is so dang expensive. For a regular hamburger it is $14 and for one sticken can of pop it is $3, you can almost by the whole 12-pack in michigan for that price. Everything is so overpriced and you spend all your money on just eating and trying to live there.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking about things I used to do that I don't do anymore. I guess I just got really busy and caught up in stuff. I used to love art. My mom put me adn my siblings in art classes since we were really young. One of our first teachers was a very good artist and liked to push us to improve. She made us put our work in compitions and art shows. After her, we had some other teachers that we learned a lot from too. I loved drawing and painting. School and sports started to dominate our lives and art got pushed to the side. Eventually the only time I did art was in some classes at Lakeland. But I took all of them and ran out so I kind of forgot about it. I keep thinking about doing art again but I always seem to have something else that has to get done first. I don't want to use that as an excuse to not do things i loved before, so I am going to start making time for them.

ReplyDeleteSpring break is coming up fast. I am going on a cruise with some of my friends so it should be fun. I just can't wait to get somewhere warm. I have never been on a cruise before but I am sure I will like it. We are making a bunch of stops at different places so I am excited for that. When we stop at places we might do stuff on the islands like ziplinging or cave tubing but I'm not sure yet. I just hope the trip will be fun and everyone will get along.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking today how Michigans weather really sucks. I don't hate the winter and I don't hate the summer, even though there are times where its really hot and really cold. I actually really like having four seasons . Some states don't get four seasons. That's sad. Well I was just thinking how I want it to become spring already. I hate how it starts to get warm and then we get a huge snow storm again. For the past two saturdays we have been hit with a snowstorm. So if it snow on Saturday that will be three weeks. I just really want it to be spring already. I want to go outside and do fun stuff but most of all I want it to be warm.

You think that this change will solve everything and make your problems disappear but it may just bring some more issues upon you. Change is change and everyone just has to learn how to deal with it.

I really like these lyrics. I feel like they say alot about how you can be yourself and not care about what others think. No matter what someone does to you or how hard someone tries to break you down, they can't if you don't let them. No one can control what you do and who you want to be.
Just got home from work. Decided to eat some food and than do some homework. All of this rain is making the dirt roads look like a mine field. My car is getting hurled back and forth every time I go to and from my house. I am looking forward to the summer so the roads can at least be some what passable. I hope the snow is done with because I'm sick of having to turn the heat on in my car. It uses to much gas and with the high gas prices it sucks.
ReplyDeleteThis week seems to be going by really quick, which is actually pretty nice. My weekend is also free for once too. No plans yet, except for sleeping in for once. One thing that I know I'll have to start soon time is my speech. Since I am pretty good at memorizing things, I think I'll go that route instead of a personal experience. But besides that nothing else is planned. I have to work on Sunday, like always, but its money so its something to look forward too.

ReplyDeleteYesturday i found out i have Tendonitis in my left foot. Tendonitis is an inflammation of a tendon (a band of fibrous tissue connecting muscle to bone) that causes pain, tenderness and occasionally, restricted movement of the muscle attached to the affected tendon. I have to have x-rays done on my foot next week to make sure everything is ok. The doctor told me i could have an extra bone in my foot that the tendon is connected to. If it does end up with me having an extra bone they have to go in an disconnect the tendon and re connect it to a different bone.
ReplyDeleteI havent read a book on my own in a long time. i used to read about a book a day and now its probably been a year since ive read an entire book. I didnt even like to read that much i just had nothing better to do and now sometimes i actually want to read a book but i never have time to.

ReplyDeleteI am finally catching up on my homework! all i have to do tonight/today is finish my notecards for AP Psychology and finish my essay for this class. Then i can do my project for this class on the weekend and i will be officially caught up with everything! this is the last blog i need to write this term and then if i finish my essay this hour then all i need to do is make about 15 notecards more for Psych. it feels so much better to not have to worry about which assignments i need to do and how to get them all done. i hope that there isnt much more work than high school when i am in college

ReplyDeleteHave you ever noticed that the school pencil sharpeners arent very effective? This has really come to my attention latelty because it is very effective. Everytime I go to make my pencil fresh it either gets broken or becomes more dull. I think that if the school had better pencil sharpeners than it would be easier to focus on the classwork and i would get more things done because of it. I suggest that the school does something about this problem soon because these continue to get worse and it is becoming a serious issue.

I love smoothies. They are probably one of the best things on earth. I always made a smoothie after I ran in the summer for breakfast. I Put in frozen strawberries, frozen mangos, and vanilla soy milk. I don't like to put ice in them because it makes them too watery. So that is why I use frozen fruit, to replace the ice.

ReplyDeleteHot tea and honey has saved my life for the past three days. With a runny nose, hacking cough and pounding headache the last thing i need to complain about is my sore throat! this is where the hot tea and honey come in.. now you see normally i drink coffee like my life depended on it. but for the past three days ive kicked coffee to the curb and adopted hot tea. this is for the simple reason that hot tea and honey help soothe a sore throat, and no the same thing isnt true for hot tea and lemon. that is a lie. the acid in the lemon cancels out any good it could have possibly done.

ReplyDeleteI do not have to go to school tomorrow thanks to swim. The reason im mising school is that states are tomorrow at oakland university and seven members of the swim team will go going. Unfortunatly I will only be going as an alternate because i screwed up my chance to swim at the end of the season, but if someone gets hurt I get to swim.

I realized that it depends on the situation. Your heart tells you what you really want, while your brain gives you the logical choices. I beleive that listening to your heart can give you a lot of insight into life.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite sport to watch would have to be basketball. I love the fast past environment that the game has. The players have a way to get the crowd all excited. My favorite team used to be the pistons. right now they are going through hard times and hopefully they will get through it before next season.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite sport to watch is football. I think that its the most intense sport around. Im a huge green bay fan, and the super bowl was like a second christmas. I finally got the nfl ticket app on my phone, so next season while im up at college, i can watch all the reports, games, and see all the scores, for free.

ReplyDeleteI really want to go to Africa. Me and Brooke decide we wanted to go in like second grade. There is a lot of deadly insects and diseases there but it would be worth it. We want to go on a safari and see all the wild animals. Another place I would want to go to is Spain. I think it would be really interesting. ReplyDeleteNow that the winter season of sports is over, I am starting to realize that everything that I love about high school is slowly ending. Football, homecoming, and wrestling are all over. I know that I will never be able to do them again in this setting. It really makes me sad because I have had so many good memories. If I could go back to freshman year and start over, I would in a heart beat.

It would drastically slow their driver thruogh and service time, it would be hilarious.

I have had such a hard time getting out of bed that now i am just looking forward to the weekend so i can catch up on some sleep. I do not have much planned for this weekend so I am hoping that i can at least sleep in so that next week i am not as tired. ReplyDeleteMusic can be a relaxing thing to all of us after a hard day of school or work. I like to listen to a wide variety of genres. Mostly i like to listen to older rap and hip hop, like back in the early to mid 90's. That was when rap was at its prime. New artisits today dont have any skill. For example T Pain sounds horrilbe, so he uses auto tone to make him sound like a computer. Also every new artist sounds just like the next, and back in the day everyone had their own style.
ReplyDeleteThe school year is coming to an end fast. It has gone by so fast. High school is almost over and I start to wonder, did I leave a legacy behind that people will remember? I think I've accomplished a lot here at Lakeland. I played football for 4 years, I wrestled for 4 years and was captain for 2 years, I was on Homecoming court, I've won the Board of Education Award 2 times. These may seem like huge accomplishments but I feel like something is missing. I want to leave a great legacy behind that others can look up to.
